Zanthe bit down hard on the tongue depressor bundle, willing herself to keep still as Ray closed the injury. This man must be very tough if he's done this before... I can hardly handle it myself.

Fluffy arrived at the nightclub, half hour before beginning of his shift. He needed to deactivate motion sensors and prepare everything for arrival of staff members. His shift begins 2 hours before opening.

Fluffy's coworkers began arriving. They were about to let in nightclub staff.

Acon sat on a bench along the street and watched the people walk past her as they made their way home and to the clubs that started opening up. She sat back and crossed her legs as she lit a cigar, admiring the city lights and the people under them.

[The Past]

Geoff opened his eyes briefly before stretching his body out on the bench (different from Acon's). No one had woken him up, surprisingly. He untangled the backpack strap and worked the aching muscles in his arm, repeatedly bending it toward and away from himself. Now somewhat refreshed, it was time to explore the city more.

The bear searched through his backpack, checking if he had left any snacks inside. To his disappointment, there was none. All the objects he owned were clothes, a pocket knife, a wooden khopesh sword, an out-of-service cellphone, an electronic tablet, some notebooks, and various odds things he collected that may or may not be of use. Despite being generally detached from material objects, he enjoyed collecting discarded non-valuables that his eyes happened to fall upon. He especially liked spherical shapes, so much of his collection consisted of marbles, bouncy balls, and unstrung beads found lying about on the streets and the nooks and crannies of abandoned buildings.
One of his favorite findings was the orange crystal necklace which hung around his neck. He wasn't sure if it was a real crystal, but that didn't matter to him. It was still beautiful and still made him happy. That's pretty much all he really wanted. That was why he tried to travel as much as he could; the thrill kept him content.

Fluffy was sitting near the staff enterance next to bar. Club was about to get opened in one and half hour.

Geoff began exploring the city. He thought about finding a place to take shelter in instead of laying around on the street.

Ray pulled the matches away, and shook them out. "There, you should be all set. Don't move, though, let that burn set. You might tear it open again if you move." He smiled, and sat. "Anything else I need to know about, miss Zanthe?"

Geoff leaned against the wall not far from Zaida, looking through his wallet. Maybe he still had some money left to buy some food.

Geoff glanced at the fur before trying to neatly stuff the money back in his wallet. A quarter dropped to the ground and rolled a short distance away, but he didn't notice.
