Acension Revival

[Tina]

Out of no where a bag appeared in the cart with a thud and foot steps could be heard running into the hotel. A note was on the bag saying "I'm sorry."

[The Past]

While the building looked complete on the outside, the interior wasn't entirely finished, for the construction had been cancelled. In one of the rooms sat a small ripped-up mattress, a blanket, and a backpack.

Geoff peer at the note, then quickly pushed the cart into the hotel, leaving it against a wall in the lobby for a moment.

"I-It's alright," he called. "Wh-where are you?'"

[Tina]

There was a small thud in one of the empty rooms. At first nothing could be seen but than Clover popped out of invisibility lying on the floor. A closer look at her would show the fact that her stomach was gaunt and her features were thin and bony like she hadn't eaten in a while.

[The Past]

Geoff ran up to where he heard the thud, and upon seeing the emaciated Clover, rushed to her side.
"M-miss, A-are you okay?"

[Tina]

"I'm...fine, I can handle myself." She tried to get up but flopped back to the ground. Her disguise started to slip and her true form was revealed again. She moved her hands to her face.
"Don't look at me."

[The Past]

"I-it's okay," Geoff told her, but he did as she requested. "I... let me g-g... I'll get some food p-prepared. Relax, alright?"

He ran out to get the cart.

[Tina]

Clover had no chose but to wait.
"I'm a freak." She whispered to herself.

[Farewell]

Zaida had her hands in her pocket leaving the scene not wanting to stay long and watch. She walked to the curb, so far lost in the city. "I hate acension" she huffed. "Perhaps ask to stay somewhere..." She mumbled but shook her head not enjoying the fact.

[Tina]

Rose was crawling her way down the street and saw Zaida who looked lost.
"Excuse but do you need directions."
"My lady is it really such a good idea to..." Vlad shut his mandibles as Rose clicked hers at him.

[The Past]

Geoff brought in the cart, rushed back out to his bedroom, returning with something in his palm.

He stepped over to Clover and placed it in her hand. A peppermint candy.

"If you're feeling nauseated, that should help," he said, smiling softly.

[Tina]

"...your helping me...after I robbed you?" Clover asked accepting the candy and uncovering her face.

"I-It was in desperation," Geoff replied, "and I know how that feels..."

He stood up and grabbed a can of soup from the cart. "I know it doesn't look like it at first glance, though. I used to be way fatter, heh..."

[Tina]

"Heh I'm sure...not that I'm saying your fat." Clover blushed slightly.

[The Past]

Geoff chuckled and looked at the can for a moment. "Uh... psh, wait..."

He jogged back out of the room again, this time bringing his backpack in. He dug into one of the pockets, fishing out a can opener. After opening the can, he peered at it again.

"M-Might be better warm. Give me a minute."

He set the can down in front of himself and closed his eyes, hovering his hands over the can as he focused. The can began to heat up, warming the soup.
