He nods writing down 'I understand, perhaps we will...' He held it up long enough so she could read, then sat the notebook down on the floor grunting as he got to his feet. The Shebard walked over to his desk his paw on his side, placed on the bandage. Devin grabbed a bottle and drinking the ice cold water before looking over at Zanthe. He then pointed to the bottle, Gesturing if she wanted one.

Devin grabbed the other bottle in the small cooler, walking over. He then sat back down with the notebook, setting the bottle on her bed.

Zanthe carefully picked up the bottle and held it for a moment, looking Devin over. She finally noticed the chip in his neck, and decided that now was the time to ask. "... Devin, is it okay if I ask you something?" she asked.

Zanthe looked up at the ceiling and bit her lip slightly, unsure how to phrase this. "... Why... Why are you using a notepad to speak to me?" she said, looking into his eyes.

He looked at the pad of alcohol seeing the color had came off showing her original fur color with a bit of blood. Devin wasn't surprised as it seemed this was to hide her identity. He however let the dye stay knowing she'd probably feel safer. Devin listen to her heart before putting the blanket over her and walking over to the restroom to wash the materials.

After a few minutes, Zanthe started to stir a little bit, wincing as the pain set in. *Wh... Where am I?* she thought, looking around from where she lay.


Cassy sighed in relief. "Thank you, sir," she said, smiling at the man.

"You wouldn't happen to know what happened to her, would you?" The nurse asked. Vlad gave Cassy a questioning glance, wondering what they should tell him.

Zanthe lowered her ears a bit. "... I'm sorry," she said. "Is there anything I could do to help with that?"

Judging from the way she acted and carried herself, she was in good with the town somehow, and the police were corrupt. I'll give them bare bones... This might have to be my own fight. Besides... if it seems like I know too much, who knows what will happen. "...Well, I was changing in the room," she said. "I had just gotten my bra on when I heard some sort of commotion. When I got there, I..." The crat pressed her hand to her forehead. "... It's hard for me to talk about. I saw her lying on the ground like that, and there were some people over her... I wasn't sure exactly what to think. It all happened so fast." She looked up at the nurse. "... I think it might've been the people standing over her, but I'm not entirely sure. There could have been a silent assailant."

"Well I am sure police will give a full investigation and will find whoever did this." The nurse said, clearly not knowing how this city works. He exits the room and Vlad let's out a sigh of relief.
