Acension Revival

[Tina]

"You let her get away! For that you will die!" Lysander was just about to finish Vlad off when Vlad pulled out a home stone and teleported back to the hotel it was set too. Lysander breaths heavily before exploding the whole alleyway in a burst of blue fire.

Meanwhile Rose screams as  Vlad teleports in with severe burns.

Cassy didn't know how long she had been running by the time she finally reached the place she was to meet Vlad. "... You... Are you okay to stand, Ruby?" she asked, her face seeming a bit pained.

[Tina]

"Yes...are you ok." Ruby got on her feet and felt really awkward. She opened the door to Roses hotel room and as she did she saw Rose panicking as the maids tried to heal Vlad's wounds to the best of their ability. When Rose and Ruby's eyes met, Rose simply fainted as the sight of Ruby pushed her panic level over the edge.

[Rayleonarde]

Jayce sighed wearily, and held his head. His mind was racing at the new influx of information. The raccoon sighed again, before asking. "So...when and where did Ray treat you?"


Ray, having wandered away from Kath, started down the street, his face obscured by dirt and grime. He hoped to get the drop on one of the Zambian's men, and meet the...thing...that made his life so horrible.

[Cifero Windtail]

"About a week or two ago," Zanthe said. "In my house. We talked a little as well." The catfox chuckled grimly. "He won't think to look for me there, I'll tell you that."

Cassy nodded, wincing a bit. "Probably," she said, unzipping her jacket. "How long did it take us to get here?"

[Tina]

Ruby glanced at the clock
"It couldn't have been more than 4 or 5 minutes." Ruby said and looked down at the unconscious Rose.
"Should I really stay here because that...thing will probably start wetting herself or something if she knows I am here." Ruby says referring to Rose. Vlad clacked his mandibles angrily at that.
"You...watch your tongue...around her." Vlad said in between painful breaths.

[Cifero Windtail]

Cassy unzipped her jacket to reveal that her stomach was a little red.  Not too bad... my aura must've not cooled down enough, is all. "Okay... Before we say anything else to each other," Cassy said, raising her hands and stepping between the two, "I feel that I should remind you both that, like it or not, we've got to work together now, no matter what happened in the past."

[Tina]

Ruby looks away and essentially gritted her beak.
"I suppose you save me from getting murdered...so I am deeply grateful for that." She said and it sounded like that was really hard to say. Vlad calms down as well.
"You will...owe me one later..." Vlad says as the sound of an ambulance could be heard.
"The paramedics are here." A maid says and goes to help lead the medics to the apartment.

Jayce nodded, quietly listening. He didn't know what to say, or if Zanthe had more to say.

[Farewell]

The hybrid still in the car looked at his watch. He looked up at at the coon, Ronnie. (if I'm right? Correct me if I'm not). "Don't think I introduced myself or if zanthe happened to mention me. I'm Devin, a friend of zanthe." he extended his arm to shake. "You are?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie, lost in thought, blinked back to reality and looked at Devin. How long had he been there? The raccoon shook his head, and grabbed Devin's paw. "Ronald Blackburn, though most call me Ronnie."

[Farewell]

Devin shook his hand firmly "Ronnie? Sounds good." he gave a light nod before he releasing his hand.

[Rayleonarde]

Unbeknownst to Devin, Ronnie had a pistol braced against the inside door, aimed right at his chest, but the raccoon kept his composure. "So, what brings you around mister...?"

[Farewell]

He fixed his blood red silk tie, looking back up. "Well I got off work not to long ago, zanthe pulled me along. may need my help I guess." he shrugged lightly.

[Cifero Windtail]

"My house sort of... blew up," she said, rubbing the back of her head. "So they won't find me there. Anyway, I'm trying to clear your brother's name. Also..." The catfox leaned in close. "Let's just say that, knowing what that man did to Valentine, he's dead already. They all are. They just don't know it yet."




Cassy gently took Ruby's hand. "We shouldn't let them see you here," she said, leading the girl into another room.
