[The Past]

Geoffrey woke up feeling better, and lay on the floor for a while. Why was this apparently royal figure treating him so well? Why were so many people showing him so much kindness here? He didn't deserve all this. He was just a poor fool spending his days wandering the roads and streets. He had no worth, which is why he left his life of decent living for one of poverty. He was an insignificant ant to be stomped on, if anything. But here he was, singled out of the crowd of the more capable poor. Why him?
Now that he was rested, the bear felt it was time to leave, but his belly ached for food. The saber cat was sleeping. Did he dare steal from royalty?
He quietly stepped into the kitchen. Seeing the icebox, he checked what was inside: meat, and apparently not a whole lot of it. He couldn't steal that. It would be too obvious, and it would be awfully rude to steal from someone who just helped him. He shook his head. He had to try hunting and gathering for now.
He wrote a 'thank you' note for the saber before sneaking out from the house and made his way near town.

Maxwell sat up in his bed, he yawned loudly. "What little sleep for busy minds." He smiled slightly and stretched as he got out of his bed, putting his robes back on and making his way out of his room and down the stairs to the tavern. He glanced around at all the patrons as he raised his hood. You can always find the most interesting of all the riffraff in a place like this. I wonder who might reside in this particular inn.

Grunan got out of bed, and got ready to finish his journey. He had come a long way to find his goal, and now it was so close....

[Farewell]

"Depends, though I'm positive I'll be staying in town for now" she say setting the napkin down. Grabbed the tea cup gently she took a sip then setting her cup down on the small saucer it came with.

Weapons: A rusty, yet sharp, shortsword, and a blacksmith's hammer.


Abilities: None, aside from being able to work metals.


Extra: Ray obtained a travel anvil from his grandfather, and now roams around working steel into tools.

Grunan got dressed had a quick breakfast, and then started to walk towards the church, grinning to himself as he walks, he was more than a little excited.

[The Past]

Geoffrey searched around in the trees outside town. He found a blackberry bush and plucked them happily, popping the berries directly into his mouth.

Maxwell decided to finally leave the inn, gently pushing his way past some of the patrons. Once he was outside he took in a deep breathe of fresh air. It was time to get acquainted with his new surroundings.

Grunan enters the church, and heads for the crypt. He walks with certainty.

After his meal of berries, Geoffrey moved back into town to explore. He saw a snake heading toward a church, and he decided to follow him. He wasn't the religious type, but he still found such a place interesting.
