The Golden Age

[Tina]

The rat let out one last squeak his spine was snapped in two and he died. Rose couldn't see what was going on from her position but squirmed and mumbled incoherently through the gag.
"Please be the adventurer, please." She thought.

[Farewell]

Zaida looking down at the rat's nose bleed. She kneeled down her eyes looking coldly to the dead rodents eyes. "Sleep well" she said in a hiss before walking over to where she saw rose strapped down.

[Tina]

Rose saw Zaida felt like she was going to cry. The all four arms were held to the table by leather straps and so where her four legs. She didn't have underwear on but then again her biology worked differently than mammals  and didn't have breasts or other unmentionables, at least not in plain sight.

[Farewell]

She looked at rose, she didn't show any emotion, she didn't have much emotions not yet of course since it was just weeks she had fell to the mortal realm. Zaida didn't mind what was being shown at all. instead had Her claws retracting on both hands. The hybrid did the first straps on her wrist then the ones on her ankles. "

[Tina]

Rose ripped the gag from her mouth and hugged Zaida as she cried and cried.
"You saved my life! I can't...I-I can't thank you enough..." She continued sobbing. Rose's gear and clothes were on a nearby table with a bunch of other stuff and above it was a sign that said "Stolen property of Grey the Splicer"

Zaida sighed as she weeped  "Just get yourself dressed" she spoke softly breaking the hug. "If you want to travel we cannot stay here." She finished. "I'm sure there's other dangers that await us, you must get use to it" she said plainly. Looking at rose fixing her clothing

[Tina]

"...Ok." Rose took a few minutes to get dressed and when she was done nodded to Zaida to show she was ready.

[Tempest (Red Panda)]

The drag ones eventually gets bored of the bar and leaves, heading back to her house. Her ear perk up at the sound of chattering teeth, she turned around and saw the freezing stranger and rushed over, wrapping her arms and wings around him, trusting that he wouldn't hurt her. "Sir are you alright?! You're ice cold! Let me take care of you dear, my house is just this way if you'll follow me." She looked him over with a worried expression, genuinely concerned for this man.

(Changed her clothing a bit, she's wearing similar scout armor from skyrim)
Her glowing eyes which then looked at rose her faded pupils scanning her up and down, but Zaida's body was hard to see, as if she was blending with the dark. Zaida leaned on the stone wall and nudge her head the stairs. "Well lead, your the one wanting an 'adventure'." The hybrid said quietly her tail swaying but oddly she was floating just inches from the floor.

[Tina]

Rose was nervous but went down the stairs, this time looking for traps.


Elsewhere in the kingdom of the Thri-keen, there was a panic starting to issue.
"I heard none of the queens have laid the kings egg yet, and there are no more queens to be hatched."
"How is that possible, every generation has a queen lay a kings egg. How is this  even possible!?!" This was just some of the rumors being spread and was the most accurate. In the throne room, King Viran was being briefed on the situation.
"What!? That is impossible! Surely there must be one queen left that can give me an heir to my throne." Viran clicked his mandibles in anger. A scribe was brought in with more records that was handed off to the knight captain. He looked at the documents and nodded, shewing the scribe away.
"It appears that we miscounted one queen who has even gone through the metamorphosis. She was exiled for refusing to accept your fertilisation and her duties as a queen. She might be our last hope."
"Than find her and drag her traitorous thorax back here so we can have our heir! I don't care if you have to burn down entire kingdoms just bring her here!"
"Yes your highness." The knight captain left and sent out and order for the capture of Rose Mariland.

[Farewell]

Zaida watched before she appeared on the second flight of stairs meeting with rose. She then began to walk up with her. "there's no more I can assure you that" the goddess spoke in a soothing voice while doing so.

[Tina]

"Ok good. I don't want a trap that will actually kill me outright." Going down the stairs a lot of weird sounding feral animals could be heard from the bottom..
"Do you hear that too?"

[Farewell]

"Yes, I can" she said her ears flicking from the noise growing curious. She looked in the direction unsure what animals would be in such a concealed isolated pit.

[Tina]

As the descended the stairs it opened up to a room full of cages. A lot them had mutated animals in them, looking like they were stitched together. Many of them made odd noises as they entered and scratched at their cage door as they were hungry. In the back was a hulking abomination with three arms and four legs of different anthros. It had two deformed heads that roared and pulled at the chains held it there.
"...that rat made these things." Remembering the bloody surgery tools he had.

"I see that. It's too bad they ran into him." She said studying the creatures not very disturbed. Zaida sighed under her hood and looked at rose. "Well we kill them correct" she said looking back some cages having dead tests subjects.
