The Golden Age

[Rayleonarde]

Ray walked around the town, trying to keep warm. He ducked into the inn for a few minutes, but was chased out by the innkeeper. Ray then walked to the whoever would buy his stuff, and sold his anvil and sword, but kept his hammer. He then bought a simple iron sword, and set out for adventure.

[Tina]

In town a fully armed thri-keen patrol was coming through on giant wasps and asking if anyone had seen a pink thri-keen. They also started putting up wanted posters with an artist drawing of Rose and soon bounty hunters began collecting them as the reward was 20,000 gold pieces. It said wanted alive and to bring Rose to the nearest Thri-keen patrol.

"Yes I would hate for these things to suffer any longer...but that one may be difficult. " Rose pointed to the one chained against the wall.

[Farewell]

"Not really, everything is easy to kill. I do it all the time" she whispered the last part as she focused on some, the creatures necks snapping out by one to make things quick so they can continue the journey to wherever they were going.

[Tina]

Rose pulled a dagger out and have the creatures a quick stab to the head. The abomination was starting to get really aggressive and pulled even harder at it chains. Soon the wall began to crack around where the chains were locked in.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray took one of the wanted posters, his paws shaking. He sighed, and approached one of the patrols. "E-Excuse me? T-The posters d-d-don't seem to say w-what the b-bounty has d-done. C-Could you t-t-tell me?"

[Tina]

The patrol stopped and glared at the street urchin. Th captain spoke. "She is a traitor to her kingdom. She has tossed aside her duty as a queen and because of it she has endangered her kingdom. However she can still be put to good use."

(By the way this is a made up take on how thri-keen based on my imagination.)

[Rayleonarde]

Ray cupped his paws in front of his mouth, and blew gently to warm them. "B-But...c-can't you e-elect another?"

[Farewell]

Zaida was too busy far with with ones down in the hall continuing to kill them with no expression as she watched them fall limp, dead.

[Tina]

"No the queens just lay the eggs, the king has all the power as he is the only one who has the capability to help them breed. However this one in particular has the king's egg, an egg that only comes once a generation. It is critical to our kingdoms survival and she needs to go through the metamorphosis to lay it."

"Almost done." Rose said just as the abomination broke free. With a roar it charged at Zaida.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked, and rubbed his shoulders for warmth. "H-Huh. H-Have y-you thought ab-b-bout g-giving the queen m-more power? S-Seems l-like a p-pretty bad deal."

[Farewell]

Zaida's ears perked and she quickly turned and jumped on one of the cages. The over the creature swiftly. "I love when some try to challenge me" she said but remember the dragon that had beaten her yesterday, making her snarl. Dual swords summoned around her arm and she hissed at the large beast

Appearance: Light blue, with white underbelly, large black scar over left eye, white 'gloves' from forearm down

Personality: Sarcastic, humorous, cunning, friendly, brave

Weapons: Dual shortswords, dagger, some hand-to-hand combat

Abilities: Extremely athletic, silence

[Tina]

The patrol laughed at Ray.
"We wouldn't expect a simple street urchin to understand our traditions. The queens are respected for their duty and are well treated and guarded as the metamorphosis renders them to a defenseless state. All they have to do is lay eggs and care for them, what more could they ask for?"

(This is the basic mentality of this era for you.  )

Rose acted quickly and threw a bomb at the beast which exploded on impact. The beast screamed in pain and its charge was slowed but it still swung an arm at Zaida.

[Farewell]

Zaida jumped jabbing the sword deep in its arm  which quickly faded away as she jumber back, slashing the back of the legs with her left claw and right sword.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed, and shuddered again. "O-Oh...a-alright." He blew into his paws again, and started off. "T-Thank you f-for e-explaining."
