*she chuckles to herself as she hears three cheers and commotion coming from the bar, shaking her head,  wishing she could bring herself to join the fun.  Instead she finished picking her herbs and brings the basket back to her littlehouse in which she made her living*

Maxwell stared at the ceiling as he waits for sleep to claim him. He never found it easy to sleep. Too active a mind, too many thoughts and things to wonder about.

[The Past]

Geoff set the empty flask down on the floor and forced himself to his feet, pushing up against the wall. He stepped out of the tavern, rubbing his eye tiredly as he wandered the street, looking for a place curl up in.

*looks over and notices the unstable bear, calls out* um, sir? Are you alright?

[The Past]

Geoffrey looked up at the dragon. He was holding himself together well enough at the moment, though he looked worse than he was; he already walked with a slight limp due to falling off a ledge a couple days ago.
"U-uh, yeah..."

*notices his limp* do you need a place to stay for the night? I could patch up your leg if you want

[Farewell]

One of her paws carving into the wooden table. Zaida walked filling her glass, lights began to flicker until exiting the pub. "Enough of that, nothing but drunk slobs in there" she huffed

[The Past]

Geoffrey was surprised by the offer.

"Uh, um--"
He wasn't completely sure if he should accept. He was growing paranoid in his condition, and such kindness seemed so unusual, there just had to be something else behind it. Maybe she was going to steal his bag while he was sleeping. Maybe she was a malicious witch wanting to harvest his organs for potions. Or, or...
All this thinking was enough to make his decision.

"I-I, I'll be fine, th-thank you..."
He quickened his pace away from the house. He half-expected her to realize her prey was escaping and pounce over to drag him back. His more logical side, however, informed him that this was a ridiculous conclusion to jump to. Either way, he aimed to find a place to stay before he does something stupid.

Outside the pub was a large, maned, saber cat; lapping from the water trough outside the pub. The water sloshed as he drank, once he lifted his head from the container his chin dripped with ice cold water. Alistair moved about the town quietly, giving his hello's to passerby until he noticed Geoff.


Alistair walked up behind him and nudged the bear gently, "Hello?" The large feline did mean well although his appearance could have said otherwise since the shade of blue he was wearing was normally only worn by royalty.

[The Past]

Geoffrey's eyes widened for a moment as he noticed the color. This saber cat was clearly no commoner, and this was a very, very bad time to catch the eye of such a character. He tried to stand as normal as possible. "Uh, good evening, s-sir," he replied, unsure of who exactly the feline was. He only recently arrived in the city.

Alistair's ears went from pointing backward to facing forward, interested in the bear, "Seems you're limping."  An idea popped into his head, "Do you need a place to stay?"

[The Past]

Oh lord, not this again.

"Uh-uh-um..."
Geoff clenched his teeth and exhaled. "... Y-yeah..."

Motioning to his back, he stood still; waiting for the bear to get on, "Well, I do have a home not far from here. At least I don't think its far."
