What happened to the Fur Affinity Forums?

I'm trying to get a badge commission from an artist, so I tried to get on Fur Affinity Forums and when I clicked on the link I get the message "This webpage is not available".  So that is why I joined this message board because FAF is down for some reason.  This is driving me crazy due that I am trying to get a badge done for MFF.  So does anybody know why FAF is down?  Also refer to my thread on the request forum of the artistic stuff section of the Creative Arts And Media if you would like to do my badge commission, thank you.

heh yea all that in the link also im a friend of Kalmor myself same as i have many a fun time with them on skype they did it because of not being kept in the loop and being forced out anyways when they did the right thing by those above them

also if you want to know the fa fourms are now dead theres a new fourms set up shall provide links when able to

ok IMVU (owners of fa) have sent a cease and dissist onto the new fourms shutting them down

I started questioning the friendliness (read: lack of a total drama-fest) of the FA Forums right as they locked down registration, which prompted me to sign up here. And you know what? I'm okay with that. The banhammer isn't being swung around aimlessly in the Furry Forums; it can be quiet around here (save for the RP forums), but for the most part the community is very, very open to new visitors.

As for coordinating with artists, I would try to send Notes on FA (or the tried-n'-true email) to keep in contact with others.

Not like the forum was any good, the last time i was there it was just filled with really hostile jerks that drone on how furries are scum.

I tried it a few months ago and I feel I was getting solid relations, however the day I joined, there was a big deal over some mods and some censorship issue.
Eventually people were getting banned and then mods got banned for standing up for those getting banned and then mods started leaving and then the last mod just said **censor** it.


I heard some moved to SoFurry, would be nice to get some more new guys here too.

they wanted all the mods to sign a nda and send in their id or face removal they all said no so its all gone down hill from there and now they claim that they didnt try anything like that
