Bass, anyone?
« on: September 22, 2015, 11:29:55 PM »
Bassists. The butt end of many lead/rhythm guitarist's, drummer's, and vocalists jokes. But we bass players are a proud people backing the rhythm and adding depth to guitars. We also probably think too highly of ourselves. XD

Joking aside, Anyone else a bass player? If not, do you have any funny bassist stories of your friends? Do you want to play bass but have no idea where to start?

I have a Dean standard 4 string in a matte green color.

I am not a bassist primarily but I do own one that I play every so often. I have an ESP LTD vintage 214 and she sounds beautiful. Probably a nicer instrument than my guitar. I play a lot of different stringed instruments though so I can't call myself a bass player per se.

And yeah, I make cracks about bass players  XD

I started as a Guitarist with a Gibson Heineken Special Epi, then switched to bass with my Dean standard 4 string Bass. I call myself a bassist because its what i prefer to play, and its what I play in my band. :P Nobody wanted to play bass, and if i didnt pick it up, we'd have 3 guitarists, drummer, and vocalist. So, me being me, decided i wanted to be that one guy to switch to bass. Im actually better at bass than i am at guitar. XD

I play bass but I'm not in a band or anything. Haven't even bothered to look yet. Been playing for 1 year.
