Easy... Camping outdoors, done it many times. Although sleeping in a car isn't comfortable nor fun when outdoors is unlimited...
Would you rather be in a plane crash, or shipwreck. Both resulting in death.

Ship wreck. Usually the boat is bigger than the plane plus I quite like water.
