Reaching a beaver dam, he had to crawl over it to get back on track, then realizing they must be nearby, since he didn't see them in the sky anymore. He decided he himself would rest here, at the bottom of the pond that the dam had accumulated. There, in the water, he caught a few fish and ate them, raw and whole, sating his hunger. In the darkened depths, he waited, his electro-sense picking up all the life in the water. Fish, a couple frogs, a beaver, and a heron fishing at the shallows, all small to tiny life. Not sensing anything large in the water, he decided to rest, but his senses remained keen and active.
