"I'll never understand the humans, especially their labs. I had to watch some of my kind die slow and painfully because of cybernetic enhancements such as these. When their body rejected their cybernetic part. I'm the only one that survived." She looked down to her arm, scrutinizing it for a moment where the naga had pointed. "Unfortunately, I haven't been able to actually sit and evaluate how badly my arm is damaged... So I appreciate what you pointed out. The wolf I'm traveling with is supposed to have efficient tools for me to repair it. I just hope we don't get ambushed by morning. I'm 'broken,' I suppose you could say, and not really in any condition to fight. Though, I could resort to the black magic I know in desperate situations. It would be risky, however, since I can't control it fully."

Fe'shikz watched the naga, a bit nervously. He didn't think it was a threat... But why did he feel so anxious...? He caught himself shivering and drew his knife... What should he do...? He should probably kill it... But... He could get killed easily... That's what it felt like... He was downright scared and he had no idea why...

He shook his head. "Well, if you need a charge, let me know. We of the Deep have learned much of human technology, and can control the output of our bodies to match the requirements of some machines. I'm staying in this pond, If you'd like, I could set up a trap around the area. I was already thinking about it, given the battle nearby. Just make sure you and your companion doesn't get caught in it. It's rather deadly...." He stops, realizing that the child wasn't just the local wildlife. He mentally cursed his lack of sensing ability out of the water. He whispered, "...Was... there a third person in your party? A child or something? If not, we've got a small guest watching. A bit hard to sense in air because of the size..."

"well FINE....ignore meh....idiot...." flicks a rock and knocks the knife from fe'shikz's hand

"There's a small feline boy with us... But that's all that I know of," she replied taking a look around. She felt Fe'shikz's being close by. "Though I wouldn't call him a companion."

the two younger siblings run into the thickets then riku notices the girls arm,
"ummm,you need that fixed?" "GAH!!!...idiots.....why didnt they stay......."

I lay on my front in the den, paws crossed over eachother. I had sensed Fe'skikz leave a little while ago. Stupid boy, he will be killed, I thought.
I knew I needed to rest, I had not done so in a long time. But I couldn't, I sensed danger everywhere. I heard gunshots in the distance. I decided to collect tools and human food as supplies, and crept onto the battlefield, my skin and fur clear as water.

Fe'shikz stayed in the tree, shivering... He couldn't move... He... He was so scared... He felt like he was going to die... He tried to peek down at whoever was down there... He saw a snake person... A... naga? He continued to stare at the naga... It looked so familiar... Of course, he was still scared stiff... His curiousity just got the best of him...

"A bit of a loner, are we, Sawfish? Yeah, can't say I'm much different. I killed my mission partner a few weeks before I was sent inland. He was a few fish short of a shoal and had all the sense of a barnacle on a mainland bird, if you get what I'm saying. Didn't have much respect for any surface dwellers other then as delicacies either." He made an exasperated sound. "Yeah, he caused a multitude of trouble, but that's neither here nor there, is it?" He shrugged and asked, "So... Since I'm sure I can count you as willing, care to divulge any information about the area? Terrain information, settlement locations, Outsider activity hot-spots. You know, the important things..."

"I suppose you could say that. Someone could whack me over the head with a rock and steal my kidneys and nobody would care." she said rolling her eyes. "I know the winged black wolf is settling in a burrow not too far from here. The feline boy has been staying close to her, but I suppose he wants to be a little adventurous. He's going to get himself killed if he's not careful..." She looked a little ways beyond the trees where faint light flashed and weak sounds of gunshots echoed. Pointing, she said, "As far as enemy hot spot go, I suppose that's where most of the fighting is taking place. I haven't exactly got a chance to scout out the area as well as I'd like to."
She was interrupted by what looked like a human with feline ears. He asked her the famous line that everyone else had... "You need that fixed?" Again, she lowered her head slightly annoyed by the amount of times she'd been asked this. Though she appreciated the offers of help around her, she was very finicky and preferred that she herself fix her own problems. "No. I'm fine. I just need some tools."

He arched a brow at her comment, but said nothing. When she said she hadn't had the chance to scout well yet, he said, "Unfortunate..."
Sensing her aggravation with the child, he smiled for a brief second, then had a stern face... which was probably rather intimidating. He reached out and gave the child a warning jolt, a painful one, but undamaging. Something akin to being tagged with a cattle prod. "Quiet, clown fish. Adults are talking."

Nyx sat on the edge of the river, her legs crossed. She was rather tired. She hadn't eaten or slept in days, and desperately wanted to, but always resisted her tiredness. Her stomach growled reminding her why she'd come to the river in the first place. To eat. As she sat forward, she looked into the water at the fish that swam about. "So," she said to the Naga shifting her wings as she waited for a good opportunity to snatch at one, "How long have you been out here?"

He grinned, saying, "Here.... Surface side? Too long for my taste. 5 days. I've been busy playing cartographer most of it." He thought about making it easy for her to get he fish by sending  pulse through the water, but he decided he would wait and see how she fared on her own.

"Hmm. Sounds fun. I've only been gone from the labs for a little over two weeks now. I'm still finding almost everything as new." She stuck her hand into the water quickly snatching, but pulling up an empty hand. Looking up somewhat embarrassed by her inability to catch the fish, she waited and snatched again, this time pulling up a fish, but accidentally allowing it to squirm out of her grip. "Including hunting. I haven't eaten much since my escape." Slightly irate, she plunged her hand into the water for a third time and stabbed a fish on one of her claws and pulled it up. "But I suppose I can adapt. I was taught to fight -- Programmed really, though I am not a machine. Some sessions I was involved in, a new method of learning. Almost like brainwashing."
