The mothership changed it's course lazily, and began heading for the sea. He smiled, saying smugly, "Well, that's just perfect. This area's going to get a sudden morale boost, if it keeps heading to the sea..."
Elsewhere, there was a fleet of human ships, carriers that had loosed the fighters, and had more standing by, and destroyers that began firing support to ground troops. several ships fired cruise missiles, taking out several stationary Alien spaceships that were supports for their mothership. Then another volley to this region's mothership, and they saw it change it's heading to intercept the fleet. It was at that point The Sissiro Horde made themselves known. An ambassador boarded one ship, and told them to lure the mothership to sea. The fleet fired another volley of ground cover, then turned and headed out to sea.
