The Deep? Outsiders? I didn't understand the terms the creature was using, but didn't point it out at risk of looking incredibly stupid. It was probably to do with where he came from, as I knew already that it was somewhere in the sea. I knew that Theo was about to though, but with one smack of a tail I shut him up. I saw a ship be hit, one that belonged to the aliens, and armor falling into the battlefield. It was a huge ship, most likely the mothership, and it didn't suffer much damage. It was heading out to sea. Maybe where the creature lived, they had extra weapons. Maybe the war would be over. That would be good. I could gather more furres - ones abandoned by the army, to help me destroy the humans.
The mothership was already drifting off into the distance from rem's location by the time it started firing strange weaponry on the fleet of human ships that buzzed loudly even from a distance. It was just barely halfway over the water, but continuing out. The ships continued their retreat, but they were taking heavy losses, not that anyone on the mainland could see anything but the air battle and the mothership. The air battle itself was actually in favor of the humans, as while the humans had lost half their f-14s, they were now one one one with the previously larger force of alien interceptors.
Rem Motioned to the mothership heading out after the fleet, saying proudly, "We have destroyed eighteen of those, after each they retreat from the area. They have given up on our seas, or even traveling over them, instead seeking to conquer the land first. As soon as the buildup is finished, it will be a amusing spectacle"
The mothership started to slow, realizing it's error, but it was too late. arcs of what appeared to be lightning lanced from the waters skyward, raking the bottom of the mothership with increasing intensity. The air started to feel alive with electricity even where rem and the ones he saved was, such was the building power of thousands of Sissiro beneath the waves. Dry lightning then struck down on the mothership, seeking to equalize the charge building up, pounding on the mothership from above. the mothership stuttered as it stalled, raising some armor-tight plasma-shield over it, and it started moving to the mainland, but the sky itself disagreed. From miles above, a section of the ionosphere built up pressure and was pulled down violently by the extreme difference in charged particles. In a fantastic burst of falling heat and mass the blindingly bright wall of air slammed into the retreating mothership with a thunderclap of deafening purportions, sending a shockwave through the air that caused the entire firefight above to shatter and explode or stutter and spin out of control, hitting the ground soundly. Trees shook violently and several lost their leaves entirely in a massive rush of greenery that flew over the group.
When the mothership was hit by that massive hammer of charged air, it's plasma shield was decimated and it's hull wrecked. a fifth of the ship had escaped the immediate damage of the blast, but was crippled nonetheless. The mothership started listing dangerously as it lost height, and it veered off to one side as it began crashing down, tearing itself to pieces as it did so. As it fell it loosed what could only be described as a almost ear rending sound, much like a foghorn. When it impacted the ground in a series of seven earth shattering thuds, it loosed a large cloud of earth and water from it's impacts in the water and coastline, painting the area with a brown-soiled rainbow.
