She finally stopped shaking, still staring at her paws, and welcomed the warmth of the fire. She sighed, letting her paws drop and looking into the fire. "If there was any way I could bring him back...I would...I miss him so much." She whispered, not feeling like talking any louder. Plus, that wasn't exactly safe anyway. Tears rolled down her cheeks but she didn't sob or anything like that. She turned her head and looked at him. "I'm sorry I'm this way. I don't want to be a burden to you. Also, I'm sorry if I woke you." She turned her head back in the direction of the fire and stared into it again. It was hard to look at him. She was a soldier. She was supposed to be tough...but she just wasn't. She could kill the enemy and watch her allies die but when it came to her past and her emotional ways, she couldn't act tough if she tried. She felt so weak and pathetic when she was this way. She sighed again, watching the flames dance.
