In the worn-down workshop, Geoffrey was delicately chipping away at a mass of plaster. It had finally took form as a feral owl resting on a branch. It was beautiful, and will be even more so once he paints and finishes it.

The bear added a few more touches to the sculpture before plucking it up and running his eyes across every detail, then setting it back on the table with care. His chair creaked as he leaned back to gaze at the whole of it for a minute. He hummed and grinned wide, giving it a thumbs up. The owl was ready for painting, and soon it will be ready to add to his humble shop's collection.
Much of the time he would rather to keep his work on his own shelves, but it was better enjoyed in the hands of others, preferably in exchange for coin.

Jr-71 was on his search for life, when he stumbled across a shop that had some light in in..curious he went to it and lightly knocked on the door..Though it's memory about history is a bit fuzzy and how to talk to others wasn't fully completed...So it stoond on the pouch listening to the wind, as it heald it's right arm in almost a painful feeling....

Name: Alexander Mourns (Refers to himself as Xander)

Age: 20

Species:White wolf

Power: Heightened pain threshold, can take quite a lot of punishment before giving up, body still reacts to serious damage the same way anyone else's does.

Height: 6'1-ish

Build: unremarkable, average, not obviously built up

Clothing/armor: Typically wears a brown trench coat with a grey shirt, grey pants, boots and fingerless gloves
Weapons: retractable baton that has a function for administering a shock and a flintlock pistol for emergencies. If he needs to he is happy to improvise.

Appearance: Pure white fur, dull green eyes, blue fur on his ears, a couple of scars on his hands and chest which are hidden by his clothing.

Personality: Comes across as lazy, uncaring, and all around just apathetic. In truth, he's jaded and cynical yet not completely apathetic. He has a softer side. He acts lazy and uncaring as a ruse to make himself appear weak or at least just normal and boring. Seems to suffer from narcolepsy, yet it could just be part of the act.

Acts weaker and dumber than he is.

Occupation: None, is looking for a line of work that suits him.

Background: During his adolescence, he was kicked out of his home and forced to live on the streets. He found himself getting involved with the wrong kind of people and became a member of a group of criminals. Eventually things got out of control and, after a series of betrayals and some bloodshed, Xander decided it was time to try and leave all that behind. He currently doesn't have a permanent residence and at times still has to sleep on the street.

Geoffrey jolted in his seat as he heard a knock at the door. It should be clear that the place was closed. Didn't he put the curtains up...?

The bear peeked at one of the curtains and frowned. The curtain was up, but he had accidentally left a small gap, which allowed some of the lantern's dim light through the window. All he could do was hope whoever was at the door wasn't a serial killer, or an authority figure wanting to kick him out. This workshop was officially abandoned, and he was staying here for free. No one had any issue with it so far, but that didn't necessarily mean he was in the clear.

Geoffrey sneaked closer to the door, making sure to not pass the lantern, and with his breath held, he peeked through the peephole lens he had fastened to the door. In the darkness, he could just make out what appeared to be a knight's helmet, and his heart nearly stopped.
He was in big trouble now.

Geoffrey carefully backed away into his makeshift bedroom. He hoped the knight would believe no one was inside and leave.

Zaida sighed as the chatted on most drunk. Somtimes picking up on uncomfortable conversations... Well uncomfortable to her being a female in this meeting. As she stayed silent her head hung low looking at her dress. Her food not even touched as she just thought silently, zoning out.

The manchines mind seemed to wander as it waited, "What is this place....Who is in their?" It thought to himself as the chilly wind touched it's metal skin...
The problem jr-71 was having was trying to figure out what to do next...Since he knows that what is considered kind is to ask if anyone is home..So warming up it's vocal pipes and the werid hum for burning some water to produce steam..."Hello....Is anyone here?" He said in a creakily and low voice...
Though he knew that something told him he might not be safe..

Geoffrey could hear the bizarre voice and kept his mouth shut tight. It certainly didn't sound natural. A steam bot, perhaps?
It had to be sent after him by the police. They made it sound friendly, too. It must be a new approach they programmed in. He refused to let that get to him and stayed still and silent with his raised ears listening carefully.

Jr-71 decided that it was a torch that hadn't been put out and walked off the pouch, but stopped when it forgot it's arm on the floor and dragged it along..."Well, I guess here has no life....shame.." He said as tripped over a rock and looked for water to refill it's tank...

Ray wandered about Woodlocke, looking for a place to eat. He kept twenty gold on him at all time, usually.

They all laughed and joked. Zaida was silent looking at the floor, this wasn't that important anyways. She scooted out of her chair standing and heading to her room not wanting to hear the vulgar things they said. She boil inside but she showed no emotion.
Entering her room she closed it behind her clenching her fists as a dark shadow past through the room in a flash having things fly and tip over. She sat down against the wall the voices in her head increasing, she groaned, gritting her teeth. "Get out!" She hissed in a hoarse whisper.

Geoffrey's brow furrowed at the sound scraping of metal, but he relaxed somewhat and silently continued to listen for a while. Either he was being fooled, or the bot wasn't an enforcement tool after all. It could be just an experiment by some random mechanic that wandered off. Hopefully the guy will find the bot soon before it causes trouble.
The bear shuddered. As much as he was in awe of steam bots, he still found them too uncanny for his comfort.

Jr-71 was wandering around and finally found some water in barrel at a bar, while everyone inside was busy with drinking or partying, he was refilling his water tank.."Power at 72%....Now I do wonder a lot...but maybe here isn't a place for knowledge.." He said shuffling in the street which the lamps light some way but other than that it's pitch black...

Geoffrey decided to curl up in his bed--which was more like a pile of cloth--despite having slept quite a lot recently, but his mind was too active. He left his room, adjusted the curtain, then started painting the owl sculpture.

Xander was strolling through the streets of Woodlocke. He brushed passed the citizens going about their days. He kept his head down as he walked, watching where he placed his feet. He didn't have any specific place to go, he was just wandering for the moment, seeing where he would end up.

Cecil pressed on, wandering the city streets, watching the people. They all seemed like they had to be somewhere, they were rushing around, as if being late was some kind of crime. Cecil wondered if it actually was. He tried to think of where he could go.
