In love with Trans' friend, their not intrested, what do?
« on: October 08, 2015, 10:16:43 AM »
*****UPDATE*****

We are going out!

We just decided to go for it and its going very well right now, like its been happening for ages it just happened, thank you comrades!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright guys here goes..

Started to take intrested of the highest kind of a Trans
male-to-female friend of mine, we've grown very very close over the past few months, both of us are furries, go to meets, make cosplays n' awesome stuff like that.
We tell eachother, everything. Even if its about some one we know is close to eacht oher.
Theres some sexual tension between us that we have discussed but we've decided not to mate just in case.

I want a relationship, or atleast some romantic... thing with them.

But despite all this, they just arnt intrested in my type.

I'm fit, 5'6 short, buff and bearded very dominant. I'm in the middle of joining my military as a Machinegunner in the 3rd Royal Welsh Regiment.  I know I'm atleast a little handsome..

Their intrested in well.. Loli-type girls and simular things... it frustrates me so damn much because.. well come on what are the chances.. They've said I'd be a great boyfriend... so.. what the hell do I do wait this out even more? They've slowly grown on me and other-way-round but it takes so long...

Trans person chiming in!

You mentioned that this person had an attraction to girls. Do you know what their sexual orientation is? Just because they are male to female it doesn't mean that they are interested in men. Gender identity and sexual orientation are not necessarily interlinked. If this person is gay (woman/woman) rather than bisexual or pansexual then there is little that you can do. All of that stuff is hard-wired, after all. Everyone has their own attractions.

Not looking to start a controversy as this is not what the thread is about, but this is entirely untrue. Suicide is a far more likely outcome than changing sexual orientation with reparative "therapy".

But this isn't what the thread is about, so if you want to discuss it further then feel free to PM me.

To me it seems this person being trans is sort of irrelevant to the problem.

The problem is that there's someone you love that doesn't love you back and the answer to that problem is the same to any problem that has that solution, move on. Unfortunately, that's the answer, you can't force them to love you and as the saying goes "if you truly love them you have to let them go". If you find you can't spend time with them without feeling hurt about the relationship you may need to distance yourself from them. It's annoying, and it really sucks, but there isn't really another way unless she suddenly decides to love you again, but that's such a small "if" that it's almost not considering.

I'm sorry man, I really am, but that's just how things are

just making a poke, i am peissed because they are canning my hsc religion teacher (who is a actual religion teacher who studied it for uni) to the most hated teacher in the school, and why because we arn't doing enough 'christian' work.

In other news-
Love is a complicated thing and just be glad you have a friend like her.

Shes bisexual, sorry I forgot to mention that :P

They mentioned they're "not that much but still are" into guys like me last night when we went out for drinks..

Not under the influence too much to be hammered but she seemed to be slightly tipsy, so no idea if I can use that as relevent data to this?
