Cecil followed Acon. "Vice and Crest will just have to catch up." He said. He caught up with the jackal. "I'm going to come with you, it's foolish to think you can take them all on yourself."

Acon sighed loudly when she finally made it over the hill. Her ears swiveled around, listening to every sound around her.

*he took off for the gunsmith, brewing up an idea*

Cecil stood next to Acon. He was sniffing the air, "they couldn't have gotten far. If we just keep moving we'll run into them sooner or later."

Acon smiled and gave Cecil a single nod before she kept moving, her coat and tail dragging along behind her. "You're right. I just want to be as careful as possible."

Cecil smiled as the two kept moving. "So where are you from exactly?"

Acon shrugged. "I don't know. When I was younger, my father traveled a lot and he took me with him. We never stayed anywhere for long and he didn't like to talk about my mother so... I just never learned."

"I'm just a wanderer as well. I've been to a lot of places and seen a lot of... things.  I'll tell ya, that stuff, Le-Mon, I've seen it do horrible things to good people... and yet, I know that if I drink it I'll become stronger. I, I don't know. I'm terrified of what it might do to me."

Acon shrugged again as she pulled on a pair of leather gloves and pat Cecil's shoulder. "If you're prepared for one nasty side affect, then it might not be as bad as you think. I don't know... I think I thought the same as you before, but... Everyone reacts to it differently."

"So you're one too..." Cecil said, and there was a long pause as he looked at Acon's body, he could see it now. Her abnormally thin build, her razor sharp teeth and claws. "But you're different, you didn't become insane. Your mind was untouched. Why do think that is?"

Acon shrugged. "I don't know. I guess you could say I kinda got clean? I don't know about me being sane though. Just... Probably better at hiding my insanity?"

*he continued working*
