Personally, just look-wise I like Pyroar, finally a proper lion Poke! My fav before that was Entei, but now he's down to 2nd. :P
But he's pretty hard to use competitively, so for competitive use, I used to go with Arcanine (My 3rd favorite) before they nerfed the weather thing... xD
