TBH as much as I like some pony goodness, some episode really annoy me too.  And that stupid Licketty-Split  I would cook her over a fire and feed her to my dogs.

I already didn't like horse characters, then that show came out and a lot of people who used to be here dropped their ideas for MLP character clones. It was a dark time.

Also when they got on games like that I normally enjoy, like TF2, and harassed people for not being obsessed like they are, making it a generally negative experience to even play.
