She also made lutefisk, i never understood the fascination.

The one good thing food recipe she brought with her was lefse im glad that recipe didnt get lost when they came over

Its a fish usually cod that soaks in cold water for five days and then soaked in water and lye for two more days. It smells terrible and taste even worse, it ends up being gelatinous by the time its done.
