There are 16 different minifigs in each series but they don't say on the wrapper which one is inside (blind bag) so because I can't buy dozens to get the ones I want I feel the content through the wrapper for identifying pieces (fondle)


eg, the unicorn girl is the only one in the series with the horn piece but very few other accessories.  So I can exclude some from my search when I feel an incompatible piece and I can purchase in confidence when there is a exclusive piece.


But it's slow and makes me paws cramp :(

Can't you sorta cheat and see if the barcodes are different? I mean it won't tell you WHICH one it is, but it will be a different number for a different figure, yes?

Sadly no.  There used to be a pattern in the first few series but they "fixed" it.


At least with Transformers Kre-O minifigs there is a faint code embossed into the side edge.  Then you can at least avoid double ups and the TFfansites post the key pretty soon after a new wave.


It's possible I've gotten competitive with the Lego company now >.>


I'm friends with a woman who buys in bulk, and resells the excess.  But she was sold out of unicorn girls :(

It's much more common in Japan.  I dunno if it's a cultural thing or not but I just don't understand... I wanna know what I'm buying!


Having said that I have gotten it wrong a couple of times and ended up with a cool figure I wouldn't have though to get.


Like Mrs Cyclops... I though her club was a unicorn horn! XD

My car was recovered! All I know is that the tags were missing and it's drivable but the guy got caught. I won't get to actually see my car until Monday, though.

Yeah... I just really hope that it's not messed up too badly. Drivable is a little vague. It can be drivable but have busted windows, know?
