Wait, didn't you say one should do the challenges first, before trying to do the main run, thing game?

Yes, but this applies to that too, as you can find items during the challenges as well.


And it's mostly that it's generally a good idea to get the challenges out of the way as early as possible due to how many of the rewards are really useful.
But there's absolutely no harm in playing regular runs too. Switch between the two as you please.

I thought the regulair run was rather easy, compared to the darkness challenge that I had been playing all the time... Hence, I was a little confused...

Yeah, it takes a little while to learn how to not die. Just gotta keep trying!
Heck, even I seem to only win 1 run in 5, according to my Win/Loss stat page.
It's kinda misleading tho as most of those deaths are from trying to get all the achievements for that one infamous character that shall remain unnamed for now >->

Yeah, deaths in challenges doesn't affect your stats.

No, I mean positive K/D, meaning the amount of enemies killed per death is higher than 1...

I was away for a bit to do some checking on Terraria what my characters had and how much stuff I had hoarded away for rainy days! After going back to Terraria made me really feel nostalgic and wonder how in the heck did I get so far with all the cool stuff I've acquaired and all the bossess I've slain in the most hardest of difficulty! Not to forget the countless hours I spent on building and designing floating mansions for me and a friend who played with me often every once in a while! 


That game is just pure awesomeness and I really need to get the last achievement for the game to finally call it complete on my book!



Oh, yes a thread for cute animals and other hilarious things related to them would be sweet!

I also tried to play Terraria on the PC again the other day.
Really amazed I managed to get ANYWHERE before.
I literally spent half an hour with the inventory open, and got -this- annoyed with how it wasn't possible to scroll between the items on the hotbar >->'
I also have faint memories of stashing up on truffle worms, but I can't find them anymore.
I have 9000001 containers of random crap, and now that I haven't played in ages I have no idea what's where.
I don't even remember if it was possible to hoard truffle worms, but I still kinda feel like I did.

Oh, yes the rare and enigmatic truffle worms used to summon that flying aquatic christmas ham from the sea! Those worms are very hard to come by require the mushroom cavern biome to appear! With alot of time and terraforming, I managed to make myself a vast truffle worm farm where they would spawn in very high numbers and I have those stashed safely away by the dozens!


You just need to make alot of aerial platforms with passable gaps, lots of water candles to increase the spawn rate of enemies and worms in the area to further allow you to efficiently harvest those worms! I'll recommend using the golden net to catch em due to it's much longer reach and faster catching speed!


Just good luck if you managed to make a farm right next to a crimson, corrupt or a hollow converted areas where you might run into hollow, corrupt or crimson mimics that'll just tear you apart if you accidentally manage to get too close to them without being properly prepared!

Yeah, I had a setup kinda like that, which is why I think I should also have truffle worms stocked up ^^

I for some reason feel the irresistable desire to ping the absolute hell out of somebody, but it almost always ends in death, soo I'm not shure wether I should be doing it, but I'll likely end up going for it anyway. I hope y'all will forgive me, one day...
