:O White beans in tomato sauce! GIMME!
I'm not even joking, when I say that I have a can of the stuff lying no more than 1 meter away from me right now!
But, no... I don't do lasergaming... It was at a birthday party from a friend.
I actually really don't like laser gaming...
Spoiler for Hidden :
It's just kind of a bunch of BS. There's no objectives in lasergaming, not even locations bound to the teams, wich results in there being completely no dynamics, or room for tactical insight, or, "game" . And, IMHO, the absolute worst part is that there's no penalty for getting shot, or "dying". Even worse, the player that gets shot actually recieves an advantage, because he'll be invurnable for 3 seconds at the mere tradeoff of being incapable of shooting, and loosing 1/50 lives, wich can be replenished at the marshall no more than 20 feet away. This causes a complete lack of stimulance for a player to "stay out of trouble" resulting in a bunch of peopel aimlessly running around, breeching straight trough allied groups or formations, shooting everything in sight, or rather, just spamming their gun at peoples sensors.
TL;DR: There's no objective, team bound location, or even anything to stimulate a player to not get himself killed, resulting in the game becoming complete and senseless chaos...
It didn't take me long to figure out it was completely pointless to try and make any sense out of the situation, as everybody was simply just everywhere...
I did join some older men from my team, who've been in the millitary, and tried to group up, and keep a small area clear to establish some sanity in the chaos, but the line was quickly broken by "team rush B, cyka blyat", soo that was fun while it lasted...
Needless to say, I'm really not on my strongest place in stuff like that... I'm really heavily dependant on somewhat being capable of predicting where hostiles may be, and a front or safe foothold to fall back on...
Despite that, I Still ended up on the 4th place, out of 30, with only being hit 3 times!
Somehow my good aim and situational awareness learned from TF2 still lended itself as adequate, even in the massive heap of bullshit that laser "gaming" is...
But, yeah, I'll pass on lasergaming... Airsoft is where I wanna go!
