Yeah, I get this really strong urge to make dye-puns whenever I get back from school >->
Perhaps that's one of the harmful effects the pigments have if you stand too close to them when heating or don't wear a face mask.
You start making puns so afwul you dye a little inside every time.
At this point, I'm probably completely red inside.
Such a shame.
And yeah, it's an interesting thing to me at least because I just love roleplaying and making up my own stories and backgrounds in games like Skyrim. xP
One reason why I still like and occasionally play RuneScape is that your character isn't really the chosen one or anything special at all. (Or at least that was the case up until 2014 when they made this one quest that turns you into the Wold Guardian and now pretty much every new quest they add goes along the line of "World guardian this world guardian that" >-> They had one thing that really set them apart and then this happens..)
And the one time you DO find yourself in some obscure prophecy, you and everyone else at first believe you're the hero who will save the world, but in the end it turns out that you weren't actually the hero at all, but the idiot who accidentally set things in motion so that the end of the world almost happened because you more or less accidentally ended up freeing some random race of ancient amphibious sea monsters that threaten to march on the surface and destroy everything. xP
You DO end up being the hero too tho, but not because of the prophecy.
Currently, I play a not-pure-but-mostly Bosmer who's pretty much just a hunter. I love running around in the areas around Riften and harass the local wildlife, and along with the Hunterborn mod it's actually a fairly viable way of life.
I also found the become a bard mod to be interesting, so perhaps he can be a bard on the side too.
Just a random happy guy, hunting all day and singing at some tavern all night, without any care for some silly dragons or civil war.
Sure, raiding the occasional bandit-occupied fortress, exploring some cave here and there, helping out locals, and taking on some bounty hunting every once in a while works too, but all that's more just to add a tiny bit of variety rather than being the main show.
And I was originally considering to use one of those alternate start mods, but then I decided not to as it had been half an eternity since my last serious attempt at playing Skyrim.
Sure, now my character knows dragons are real, but he's probably not thinking too much of it other than that it'd be an interesting creature to hunt.
Whee!
