Honestly, if I see that I'm not doing well at the start, then I often won't go on for much longer.

That's exactly what I don't have
I act weird and make weird gestures and sounds while talking.
I also never make or keep eye contact when talking to people if I can avoid it.
In fact, most should consider themselves lucky if I even look at them at all!
Not even people I consider close are spared. Especially not the people I consider close.
They know me and my weird ways and seem to have accepted me despite all the things, so I don't even try to act normal around them as I do most other people.
That acting normal part most likely makes me come off as being even weirder to most people who don't know me too well.
Or well, not just "most likely", I've already managed to confirm that it does for sure several times.
That's just the way I am.


It doesn't really bother me tho, most people don't really seem to mind too much even if we're not too close, and I can always hang out with people online instead.
Oh wait, I forgot I'm kinda awkward here too!
Oops.

And yeah, I'm discouraged from doing stuff way too quickly too.
I don't know how many times I've seriously considered trying to learn how to draw, only for me to quit after the first three or so pictures due to not feeling I'm getting anywhere. >->

First of all, pick up this book...

It was written before the 19'th scentury, or something, soo the english WILL tear you apart. But, it's really interesting stuff, if you want to learn how to drawn!

Second of all, you are exactly evident to the fact that one can be weird, but still have normal social interactions, by not being awkward!
We should try to establish what being awkward means, and try to hypothesise a few causes...

Spent a while being annoyed with how that one horse mod I got for Skyrim refused to work properly.
MO reported no conflicts and none of the other mods I had really seemed like the kinds that'd do anything to the horses or how they worked.


Last night I found out that apparently one of the dialogue overhaul mods requires a patch for it to play nicely with the horses >->
Had somehow managed to miss that.


Now the  horses work as intended.
But the damage has already been done, and the brown horse from Windhelm stables shall forever be known as "Dimwit"


Endearingly, of course.
It's a brave horse. The bravest horse, in fact.
Brave to the point of foolhardiness.
The name feels oddly fitting for that reason.
A horse that tries to fight random predators instead of running away?
Doesn't sound like a too clever idea.

What kind of a mod launcher are you using, Cheza? Are you sure you have mods in correct load order on the list to avoid any possible future problems with mods conflicting with each other?

I'm using Mod Organizer and have mostly been going along with what that's suggested for the load order.
Probably not the best way to do things, but everything appears to be working just fine for now at least.
*Inb4 all things go corrupt next time I start up the game*

I still remember back when my computer was still getting put together.
The people in charge of building it were all "Why the heck would a woman need a computer like this?"


Still kinda sad that I didn't take the opportunity to ask them if they could recommend a good place to go find nice curtains to go with my Windows. >->


Tho I suppose they were right, I mostly play random indie games with 2D pixel graphics these days anyway :D
