Mishka isn't talking either, that's just random ear-shattering noises that people want to believe are words. :P


And nope, Barbas is voiced by Stephen Russell, while Bender is voiced by John DiMaggio.

Hm, I thought they sounded similair...

And, well, maybe most believe that, but I personally think said huskies are only conveying emotions trough these ear shattering noises (that somehow sound really cute) , and I think that somewhat counts as talking...

Just as this video demonstrates quite nicely...

The husky can be heard making some sort of whining noise, to wich the guy reacts to her as being annoying by something, and then asks her what's wrong. The husky then proceeds to make noise again, to wich the man thinks that she is talking about sneezing, and that she doesn't like sneezing. And then, in the end video, the husky does in fact sneeze!

Long story short, they are effectively expressing feelings and thoughts trough a vocal means wich, IMO, counts as talking!


But, that's a surprisingly un-important standpoint, actually... >_>

Tho by that logic, a really huge variety of animals can talk, since quite a few animals communicate their feelings through vocal means, even if the sounds don't necessarily sound close to words.

Science proves that it's mimicry at best. Kinda like parrots.

It is mimicry. It absolutely is.
But, the mimicry itsels acts to convey emotions trough the pitch and tones of the voice. It goes the same way around to, mind you. Get angry at a dog, and yell at said dog, and he/she will scertainly know that you for whatever reason aren't quite happy with her.

Although, yes, it's an expression of feelings and emotion, (that dogs normally only display trough body-language) but not anything more than that. I'm quite shure that a normal dog isn't comfronted with the problem of trying to ask his hooman how his day has been going, but being physically incapable of doing so...

They've got a long way to go before they reach that tier...

(Provided that humans don't cross-breed them all to absolute oblivion, that is... >_> )
