Or actually yes.
I just remembered.
We got FLOODED with them.
All those hat Pikachus and the Pikachu-exclusive Z-crystal.
A Pikachucalypse.
So many of the insufferable things.


Raichu still got the short end of the stick.
It's like some forgotten middle child.
Which it technically is, considering Pichu only appeared in Gen2.
Things make a lot more sense now.

But yeah, now that you say it, mature pokemon would be quite awesome...

Imagine a pokemone game set during the mentioned "pokemon war" or an apocalypse similair to that in the dungeon games! That would be epic!!!

A mystery dungeon game that's better than Explorers of Sky would be good too.
Not because EoS was bad, but because it was so good, none of the games that's come after it has managed to reach the bar it set.
A game that could do that is probably too amazing for this world tho, which is why it'll never happen and stuff.

Now that I think of it, I don't even know if I've ever seen an actual firearm in any pokeman related thing.

It's somewhat like they were just never invented in that universe?

I'd personally appreciate having something better than a pointy stick, regardless...

Not only because I'm the kind of person that would rather not have my pokemone do fighting, but also because it's much more efficient to put a piece of lead in an inconvenient place in someone's body than to have a long and drawn out animal battle with them that determines your victory...

But maybe I'm taking things too seriously...

There's one episode that got banned outside of Japan because some guy is pointing a gun at Ash and possible also shooting after Team Rocket, altho I don't remember that last part for certain.
Team Rocket also shot at a Dragonite with bazookas once.

A bazooka isn't a firearm, though. It's more of an ordnance. I was more reffering to legit human small-arms that fire pieces of metal trough a tight tube by combusting some flammable powdered material that's stored in a small preloaded cartridge.

Although, I stand corrected by the MP5's and carbines in that list.

It would actually make sense if Japan just bans everything with a gun in it.

I don't know anything about their age ratings, but it could explain.

I didn't clearly specify that with a "firearm" I actually meant small-arms, and given that a bazooka is kinda just a metal "arm" that "fire"s an explosive projectile I totally understand your confusion!


It does make sense now that you say it, though. As a well-dressed wardobe probably has lots of clotheshangers inside of it...
