Is it weird, by the way, that whenever there's some sort of non-natural apocalypse, I'm always worried about the native wildlive first?

I know that the humans are going to be fine, because of plot armour, but what about the deer and foxes and wolves?

But we'd also die without some of them, given that our digestive tracts work in symbiosis with them...

Also, without micro organisms there is no immume system. And, we don't want to end up like the Martians now, do we? They seemed to rather lack on their immume systems... >_>
