There's an established joke with the name Sindri
I could tell you it, but you probably wouldn't understand
so I'll tell you anyways
in the Personal Computer Game, 'Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War'
It's the quest of Force Commander Gabriel Angelos and his associate the Librarian (basically psychic guy who rends things) Isador Aikos on a hunt for the manaicially evil forces of Chaos, led by Chaos Lord Bale and the Sorcerer Sindri. The Two good guys (space marines) of course have to first kill the Orks, as was their original mission, then the enigmatic Eldar (space elves) came in, and when they come in, something's not right. The Eldar were guarding a key, a key to an evil stone called the Maledictum. The Space Marines, in their ignorance, attack the Eldar, and weaken their forces enough for Sindri to swipe the key in front of everyone's faces.
The Space Marines pursued, taking down Chaos forces everywhere, and Sindri, the enterprising man he is, tricked his Chaos Lord Bale to mount a defense against the Marines, and actually used Bale's soul as he died as a sacrifice to control the Maledictum. Earlier in the game, Sindri was also psycically contacting Isador, slowly corrupting him to the ways of Chaos and EVIL! Isador tried to take the Maledictum for himself, but Sindri was just too powerful, and was reduced to rear guard commander. Gabriel Angelos came in, and was forced to kill his best friend.
Then Gabriel Angelos pursued Sindri with the Inquisitor Toth, who gave him a DAEMONHAMMER! named GOD SPLITTER!
Sindri used the Maledictum to ascend to a Daemon Prince, a being of terrible power. However the forces of Gabriel Angelos were just too awesome, and Sindri was slain in combat, and the Maledictum reclaimed.
The Eldar tried to get Gabriel to not smash the stone, however the Inquisitor fellow at his side told him too. As the Eldar opened fire on his troops, he destroyed the stone.
Ans as everyone was leaving the scene, the manifestation of a Greater Demon emerged from the destroyed stone, for the stone was it's prison.
Gabriel swore to hunt the demon down, and in the Dawn of War 2 expansion Chaos Rising, he might get that chance.
The joke with Sindri is Bale yelling "SINDRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" in this incredibly awesome voice as he's getting killed for a sacrifice.
