Never been to a LAN party. If you asked me if I wanted to go to one say a year ago, I would've jumped at the chance. Now? Not so much.

That's definitely not unusual, the more detail you add, the longer it takes. I have a lot of reflectivity in my renders so it takes about 12-24 hours for 12 seconds.

Yes it is when it all comes together! Longest part of the work is rendering, just imagine how long something like Avatar took! I mean they would have to network tons of computers to render all of that animation!
