I was more distraught in portal two...they play a beautifully made italian song named "cara mia" that has some very strong significance when translated...

and she murders so many of them  :'(

I spent 2 hours trying to save the companion cube in Portal 1 first time through...Every prop in the level in that burner before the cube...
I bet it didn't burn as violently because of that :D
