That's true.
Personally I've always been a rifle fan. Short-barreled .308 can really do some damage, 'specially with my +P+ Aoren's special hollowpoints xD I like serious killing power, the ability to punch through class 3 armor (with normal FMJ or steel-cored ammunition, anyway) and still keep some devent range, y'know?
