What about a cheer leader outfit?

I'm not a leader, so don't expect me wear that anytime soon! Also I don't have those big hairy ball things they like waving about.

You mean "pom poms"; cheerleading in general in high school, at least in my region was all about a popularity contest amongst the '2hip4u' facebook and twitter teens. Not to mention the cost as my sister once mentioned was around $500 just to get the clothes and accessories together, there was no guarantee you would be accepted for following years and how it would influence your classwork because of the inconvenient scheduling of events. The parents had a tendency to intervene by throwing more money at the school until a single parent or small niche of parents could control who becomes a cheerleader and who doesn't.

Ultimately the real concern was: "How many credit hours of extracurricular activities can my daughter get, so they can get into a UC or Ivy League school?"

So that's what cheerleaders are.

I'm not saying "cheerleading is not something to enjoy", but the amount of importance people place on acrobatics that are supposed to be fun makes the experience so miserable, I feel bad for most of the girls with the parents in the background practically cracking a whip from the bleachers.

I thought there was a lot of pressure involved with performing arts in the public education system in Europe in fields such as ice skating and ballet, especially in the UK?

And then you have america who cares not about performing arts

Why do some brits, sound American when they sing? I don't get it.

I would probably wear my partial fursuit if I was in New Hampshire, right now, and I probably could for like 6 months straight without ever worrying about overheating, but sadly I am not.

I run an AC in my room on almost a daily basis to handle the heat that builds up at night.
