I always thought the "lego hype" was a bit overkill, Mega Bloks seem to do the same thing, but differently with far less popularity.

That review will tell you all you need to know about why Lego is better.


MegaBloks (and Kre-O for that matter) do some neat stuff, but they're quality is definitely worse and their pieces can be so specific there is no other application for them.  Overuse of stickers instead of design to identify what things are is lazy and when they join multiple blocks together it prevents reuse.

Lego's are great. Their tiny size allows you to build anything.

But i'm not that skilled in crafting. And they hurt my fingers! D:
