Well, as far as I'm concerned, that's the real Brent, and so my Brent-hunting days are done


And yes, your name just ended up fitting for one of those Half-life 3 confirmed-style jokes so I had to do that too.
Was probably Polaris who originally ended up sparking the hunt for Brent around here, and everyone else just ended up getting confused about it and joining in because why not. Forum-wide jokes/things happening are always fun, after all.
Could have used my crocodinolizard Bran for something similar as his name is even more similar, but that'd have meant THAT IT WAS ME!!! THAT I WAS BRENT ALL ALONG!!
But I'm clearly a Bridget, not a Brent, so it wouldn't have worked as good.


As for me, I accidentally found Brent when seeking comfort and enlightenment in the wise words of Overlord Raven. On Twitter, because our dear leader speaks to us from there.
It didn't bring me the answers I was hoping to find, but at least I figured out who was Brent.

I was hope for some sort of short-story like revengy curve, involving Brent Hawkes, the psychopathic, LGTB supporting priest, versus the aliens, kinda thingy, but no, I guess it's just some guy with a skull pf, complaining about somebody rating dogs... Eh...

Well, at least I have my own little project to work on...

Yup, I can be both Sheik or Zelda. ThatWildMary was doing SSB-themed YCHs and I just had to snag the Sheik and Zelda slots because they're my favorites in Brawl.














And, I didn't die, I -dyed-
So if anything, I'm red. (Seriously, certain poisonous mushrooms give a mad red colour if you boil them for an hour or two.)
But certainly not dead.
Just not been around too much lately is all.

Aw man, I wish I could've gotten one of those. Honestly, I probably would have gone with either Marth or one of the Kirby characters nyself (probably Meta Knight, he's my favorite in Brawl). I've honestly been such a Meta Knight, Kirby and Lucario loyalist in SSBB that I've only really played Zelda in one of the event matches. Other than that, I've just copied her or Shiek's smash attack as Kirby. xD


Nice to find another Smash Bros. player, though. I only started about two months ago, but I've already unlocked every character, beaten intense mode in Classic twice and cleared The Subspace Emissary (and let me tell you, Tabuu was frustrating to fight). I'm working on clearing Classic and All-star modes as every character now. The final smash trophies in All-star Mode are really cool, so far I've gotten Lucario's, Meta Knight's, Kirby's, King Defdede's and the Pokémon Trainer's. Tomorrow I'm going to try my hand at clearing it with Marth, Ike and Link.


And the Stage Builder thing is highly addictive.

I just personally think the SSBB was probably the best in the series, since it had a quite a neat story mode I think was not in the previous, or in the following new SSB game we have now! I used to play always as either Mister Game And Watch, or as the Ganondorf! I miss playing that game and I just have never time to get my Wii, or other consoles for that matter assembled to play on big screen TV from the couch like back in the good old days! Still, good memories! 


Anyone ever played Warioware games? Man, the one I played on Wii was just delightfully random and hilarious! 


Also, has anyone located Brent yet? I am starting to grow weary of finding him! He's either really good in hiding, or is just ignoring me! How rude.

I started with SSB for the N64 all those  many years ago.
I mained Pikachu at the time.
Tried to do that in SSBB too when I first got it, but he's just too different now.
So Zelda/Sheik it is.
My brother and I used to play it a lot.
He always used Mario.
Pretty sure he also played Mario back in the day.
Tho I guess Mario changed for the better at least.


One funny thing to do in the stage builder is to make a stage that's pretty much just a box with only one or a few small openings at the top, so that it's near-impossible to get knocked off the screen.
After a while even weak attacks send you flying, but you still need to be kinda unlucky to get thrown out. Adds to the hilarity.


I also just remembered that I got the 3DS Smash game too, but I really don't like that one for some reason.
Have only played it for like 2 hours at most.
Sad.




And I have Warioware Minigame Mania xP
Never tried any other, but at least that one was good.
The wacky sense of humour and randomness was a welcome change from the usual stuff.

If you dig deep enough into Polaris' post history, you'll find him saying "They're all good dogs Brent"
That's the exact same quote from that thing.


Besides, it was a vision granted to me by Overlord Raven.

It still... Weird... I guess...

Having witnessed Dr. Brent Hawkes stride for LGTB, and the church, and all the treason, and wretchetness he had to muddle trough, seeing some completely random, edgy, twitter dude, actually complaining about something as petty as the way that someone rates doges for cuteness, cheriched as the real Brent, it.... It kinda hurts...

It kinda feels like it's just disregarding the whole thing?

Like, theres this man, who has grown up, and worked hard to become a priest for his church, or maybe even started his own little church, because that's what he wanted, and then he finds out that his religion actually really hates people who have a slightly off sexual orientation, and treathens that they're all going to hell for that.
And then Dr. Brent is soo upset about that, that he's willing to risk everything that he's fought for, just to help those people out! He's willing to risk it all, his church, his status, his respect, just to help others out, who are being harassed by his superiors!

And, then you, and your diety "Ravensworn" comes along, and says: "nah... He's not real... This guy who complains about dog ratings! He's the true hero we need, but don't deserve! He's the one and only Brent, and Dr. Hawkes is just a total faker loser who's jealous about him!"

You know what?

Stuff your Brent... Stuff your gods... Yes, I mean it! Every single one of you, can forget about it...

Sometimes the truth isn't what we'd hoped for :P
But as the old saying of the Big High War God goes: "If the world is not as you wish, bend Brent it to your will"


Just like how there are many interpretations of other things, why can't there be different ones for Brent too?
Some might feel this is the Brent, others might think he's yet another false Brent and that the real Brent is yet to come or is some other Brent.
I still stand by my beliefs tho.


And the Ravensworn isn't a god, it's the name of the order who follow Overlord Raven. (Who is secretly the Overlord of all mankind, but not a god.)
I'm not yet part of it myself, but I aspire to be some day.
I feel like the Overlord has smiled upon me and that it's meant to be.
Or well, I doubt he's actually done that, he's kinda evil and stuff.
Perhaps this all is but a trick to try and cause conflict in the lands of Random?
I still feel he's shown me the true Brent tho, and I'll stick by it.

Part of me is telling me to yell "god save the queen" and ensue a rampant charge, all the way to Finland, to settle this manner of Brentery once and for all, but the gist of me is saying that there are situations more suitable for such an approach...

That FW190 is also telling me that I haven't had my cup of tea yet, soo I'm just gonna set the kettle, and calmly morph into a Hurricane, so I can drink it while gently climbing to a few hundred feet above his level, wich should give me plenty of time to finish my biscuit, before I drop down on his head and clip his wings with a few kilos of 303. Brittish...

But, yet again, another part of me is telling me to quit playing war thunder, and make my homework...

Ah, well, makes no sense, though...

Why would you want to join anything, that you yourself consider rather evil, and trying to cause conflict?

(I also kinda hope that that's a thing from skyrim, because a surprisingly low number of people seem to know that rl cults aren't that much fun...)
