I liked to use Kirby to absorb people and walk off the edge of the map, just before we die, release them and jump back to the platform.

Yes, except less metaphorical, more quite literal.

Pichu was the true champion, as we're all aware.

But not the Alola monstrosity version of it.
They probably only remembered it existed because they really wanted to make an Alolan Pikachu but didn't dare to because Pikachu.

Maybe it's time for Pokemon to sub-contract out to other companies...

They might start sending treathening videos of themselves cutting watermelons with their katana collection... :I

I can only hope that more watermelons are sacrificed so that pokemon may return to a more mature approach.
