Minecraft is pretty awesome, but the lack of a trust system, like on Blockalnd, to prevent other players from tearing your builds apart is a major problem.

no, they have servers where they dont let you destroy stuff, and if you look in devblog Notch is putting the area own flag things in so they cant destroy things (or walk into) in that area

Was this in a recent update? I haven't played in a month or two, after this one Furry server stopped being hosted. At that time, we have to put a box of indestructible bricks around the spawn so newly arriving players could not move until verified to be good members of Minecraft. I posted a link to my profile on the Furry Forums, and they let me through. Eventually, after gaining trust from DT James(the host) I became an Operator in that server and, with a zero tolerance policy, banned many Grievers, and repaired what little damage they did during my stay.

yeah, there's the WOM servers for example, try destroing something there and it will spawn back again because of a host script, and yeah its a new update, but hes not put it in yet cause hes working on indev infinite right now, indev is awesome.....

I never really played the indev mode, sounded like an open beta.

well you have to pay for it to get it, and it turns into like a mini RPG where you can craft things and theres day and night, and floating/hell maps which makes it so much cooler....i love telling newbies that OP means optimus prime
