Zephyr suddenly dashed forward and grabbed what he believed were Nora and Ray's weapon-wielding hands. "Listen to the man, you two," he said calmly. "Fighting isn't going to help anything."


Clare looked over at Ibi. "We should probably say something."

A tall figure stood behind the group, he was covered in a black trench coat and had a large backpack on. He chuckled and waved, "Good evening everyone!" His voice was raspy and sinister.

The sand shifted a bit and Raz could feel a cold metal on the bottoms of his feet, he then knelt down and moved some sad to reveal a shiny slate of metal with runes on it, "Um... does anyone know what this means?"

The Merchant stood watching, he looked over at Raz and coughed.

[Razuel]

Elias turned and went to the merchant, appearing beside them in a puff of smoke, "Merchant?... Wait... the only times you show up is when you want to see a battle... and con out your customers... anyway, what gives? I thought you were lurking around in the Japanese territory... or maybe it was Russia, anyway... What brings you here, old friend?"


Raz followed along with Elias and walked up to the merchant, "Hey, buddy, do you know what any of these runes say or mean?"

The Merchant looked at Elias and scuffed, "The only time I consider a customer as a friend is if I know them well. You I don't know, I've probably made a transaction with you before. But I don't remember you." The Merchant then grabbed the Rune and looked at it for a few short minutes. "Can't say I do stranger."

Clare cocked an eyebrow and glanced at the writing from a distance. "...Looks like one of the older languages," she murmured, seeming to be translating it from where she stood.

[Ibi Tanvaal]

Nora hissed, wrenching her arm out of Zephyr's grip. "You would be wise to avoid doing that in the future..." She said.
"I did not come to fight you all, I simply came to warn you that destroying them now will only make matters worse. If you will not heed my warning, then I will be forced to take drastic action."

Ibi looked at Clare. "So... what did you want me to say? There is a very angry cat Angel there, and Ray's going ballistic because she's telling him to wait a few days..." He was grinning slightly, as if he was amused by the situation.

Zephyr blinked, his attention on Nora. "Well, if you'd explain how it would be made worse, that would be nice," he said neutrally.




Clare shrugged, grinning back. "No idea," she said. "Just seems that those two aren't being too reasonable."

[Ibi Tanvaal]

Nora was still visibly upset, but she stood back and took a breath. "If the pillars aren't disabled before they are destroyed, then they will unleash massive amounts of demons, the likes of which I doubt you have seen..."

Ibi shrugged. "Well if it turns into a fight, then at least there'll be something to see that -isn't- sand..."

Zephyr raised an eyebrow. ".... I've seen a lot of demons, but... I'll take your word for it," he said. "How do we disable them?"




Clare chuckled. "That's really not that funny," she said, giving Ibi a grin that said a bit more than usual. She had rather stunning purple eyes. "But... appropriate. And true."

Clare cocked an eyebrow and glanced at the writing from a distance. "...Looks like one of the older languages," she murmured, seeming to be translating it from where she stood.

Elias asked in a calm tone, "Well, whichever the case, why are you here?", he said to the merchant

The Merchant laughed and pointed at them all, "Gota selection of goods for you today!" He put the back pack down in front of him and opened his jacket to revel large stocks of ammo and pistols.

[Ibi Tanvaal]

Ibi couldn't help but grin as he stared into Clare's eyes. "I've never seen this shade of purple in an eye before... It reminds me of amethysts; which were sacred in my birth town."

Nora sighed. "Each one is different, which is why I need you all to wait. Unless you'd like to come and disable it with me."

Zephyr shrugged. "We'd love to join you," he said, motioning to himself. "We'll have to see what the others say, though."




Clare blinked and flushed very slightly, grinning and rubbing her arm after reaching around behind her back. "Well... I suppose it's from my parentage," she said, swishing her tail softly. "Amethysts were sacred, huh?"
