Korg'ath staggered backwards, as the magic finally seemed to deal some damage. He bellowed in pain, before he growled at the obelisk. "Do something!"

Nora cried out, spending as much energy as she could spare, loosing another powerful blast of angelic energy at Korg'ath.

"You don't sound very sure of your ally," Zephyr's voice said from somewhere. A large gash suddenly appeared in Korg'ash's foot, the sound of a whirring chainsaw coming from all around.

Korg'ath again began glowing, but loosed a massive wave of fire around him.

Cultists began to throw themselves at the gash in Korg'ath's foot. The demon's flesh began to patch itself together, as cultists melded with the demon.

The armors of leather in the way of the fire seemed to dissipate.




"... That's new," Zephyr's voice said.

Suddenly and inexplicably, the shards of the obelisk that were buried in the ground shattered to pieces. Korg'ath blinked, and staggered backwards. "N-No! W-Who?!"

"I believe you were probably doomed from the start, sir," the leather armors said, continuing their attacks. "Now shut up and die."

Korg'ath, weakened from the onslaught, on top of possessing Ray and starting the summoning spire, collapsed. After a few moments, he dissipated into a gross, tar-like liquid, before dissolving completely.

[Ibi Tanvaal]

Ibi and Nora were both almost unconscious, laying near each other. Ibi's robe was tightly bound around Nora's belly, but it was quickly going red as she lost more blood...

It seemed, for now, everything had calmed down.


Ray looked up at the metal thing, and spoke. "Call....Ronnie."

The toxin had seemed to make Raz turn Feral, and as he got up, the drool dripping from his maw was tar-like, and as his belly grumbled, he looked over to the 3 on the ground and began to make his way to then, "Grrrahh...", he was still very weak and could easily be taken down, but was still very dangerous, despite his limp

Zephyr suddenly appeared beside the metal thing. "Right away, sir," he murmured, pulling out a phone and dialing Ronnie.


The metal thing walked up to Raz and carefully rendered him unconscious.




Clare, surprisingly still standing, quickly went to Ibi and Nora's sides. "How bad are your wounds?" she asked, bending down to take a look.

Ibi was exhausted. He groaned as he rolled onto his back to reveal a shard of the pillar embedded in his leg.

Nora was pale now, her blood loss was quite severe and the robe around her waist was now irreparably soaked with blood.
