The wind kicked up harder, whipping the sand with enough force to strip paint from a car. A huge wall of sand was barreling towards the group. It would only take the sandstorm a few minutes to land, and it carried with it enough force to rip flesh from bone.

[Cifero Windtail]

Clare managed to get Nora to the shelter, then peered back out. "Hurry up!" she yelled.




Zephyr paced over as he pulled a bottle from inside his coat and handed it to Elias. "Pour this down his throat," he said. "Quickly. We don't have much time."


The leather armor was helping Ray and anyone else who was not Ibi, Razuel, and Elias into the shelter.


The metal thing stood nearby, ready to grab everyone if the storm got too close.

[Razuel]

Elias took the bottle and he flicked Raz's nose, causing Raz to roar at Elias, he then hopped up onto Raz's head, to which Raz raised his head up, "Perfect...", Elias uncorked the bottle and poured it into Raz's maw, causing Raz's eyes to go wide, he did swallow the liquid, and he began to violently squirm.

Elias hopped down off of Raz and he started to push the others infront of Raz out of the way, and shortly after, Raz cocked his head back and vomited out a large mass of the toxin in a tar-like liquid, and when finished, Raz looked to Ibi with tearing eyes and heavy breathing, "I-I'm sorry...", Elias then walked up to Raz, "Can you walk?", Raz nodded, and Elias tapped the Metal thing's side, "Alright, you can let him down now..."

[Ibi Tanvaal]

Ibi's eyes were wide the whole time, he'd had several bad experiences with Dragon's bane and he wasn't about to get anywhere near the stuff. He gagged as the smell invaded his nostrils, and started stumbling to the shelter.

[Cifero Windtail]

The metal thing bundled the three along carefully, followed closely by Zephyr.


Clare kept by Nora for now, and prepared to barricade the shelter from the storm once all were in.

[Razuel]

Raz stumbled along, falling a few times, and then propping himself against metal thing as he walked, looking down when he looked towards Ibi

[Ibi Tanvaal]

Ibi was still stumbling along, and he looked back at Raz, giving a reassuring gaze as he stood. The wind caught his wings and he fell, but he stood and carried on beside the other dragon.

The sandstorm closed in, tearing the obelisk's construction site apart completely.

[Cifero Windtail]

As soon as they were close enough, Clare helped Ibi and Raz into the shelter, wincing slightly as she began to feel the bruises on her midriff.


The metal thing and Zephyr would come in behind the pair, the metal thing still helping out Raz and Ibi. Then, Zephyr would quickly shut the door.

[Rayleonarde]

The sandstorm struck just as the door was shut, causing the old wooden door to rattle uncontrollably. It went dark outside, as the storm blocked out the sun.

[Ibi Tanvaal]

Nora remained unconscious, but her wounds were beginning to heal quicker.

Ibi sat near the door, gasping for breath as he tried to keep his adrenaline in check. He was shaking after multiple brushes with death, and he certainly wasn't prepared for another one.

[Razuel]

Elias walked in before Raz, walking over to a large enough area for Raz to lay down, waving him over to lay down.

Raz looked over to Elias and stumbled over to him, not bothering to curl up, as his exhaustion couldn't call for it, so he just flopped onto the ground, Elias sitting beside him, stroking Raz's head, "How you holding up, bud?", Raz was silent for a few moments, but spoke after  a few minutes, "Guilty and tired..."

[Cifero Windtail]

Zephyr stayed at the door for a minute before the metal thing took his place. Then, the cat seemed to sit down by Nora, taking his hat off and sighing deeply.


Clare padded over to Ibi and sat down beside him. "So... How are you holding up?" she murmured, brushing some hair from her eyes.





 

[Ibi Tanvaal]

Panting, Ibi gave a halfhearted smile. "Barely." He said, his wings unfolded and limp on the floor behind him.

[Cifero Windtail]

Clare grinned back, wincing slightly and rubbing her bruised midsection. "Well, at least we're alive," she said, looking at Ibi's wings. "...Your wings are hurt?"
