Within everyone's room, mail-box, or whatever else they used to receive mail, was a portfolio containing the details on two targets.


Quincy Garret, aka the Puppet Master (true name unknown). Owns the nightclub Groove Street, near Garrisburg. Scattered reports of full possession, and several disappearances within his establishment. Be cautious when pursuing.

Vadim Borouski, aka Dead Beats(true name unknown). Owns a small music store in Green City. Several reports of "universal manipulation", along with many noise complaints. Practice extreme caution when pursuing.

Zephyr examined the mail. "...Hmm... What do you guys think?" he asked Tempest... and her demon... and the demons living in his head.

Oanta pulls out his smart-phone.  He paws through the messages and puts the phone away.  "They both sound pretty interesting.  Either way, it seems like we would be dealing with some sort of manipulation so I guess it's dealer's choice."

Zephyr shrugged. "Who's the dealer, though?" he asked.

Ray spoke up. "W-Well, which one owns a more public domain? Any demon who has access to the outside world, should be the first to go, r-right?"

"Good point," Zephyr said, looking at both. "Hmm.. a nightclub or a music store..."

Ray furrowed his brow in thought. After a few moments, he spoke. "The music store, I guess. They're more public oriented."

Ray nodded, and set down a warp stone. He then looked to the van, and went to climb inside.

Zephyr took a moment to talk to the people inside of him.

Ronnie suddenly appeared behind Zephyr, and placed a paw on his shoulder. "You alright?"


Ray climbed into the van, and took a seat. He stared at his paws, as if seeing them for the first time.

Oanta gets into the van and sits down.  He begins checking his weapons to make sure they are cleaned and ready to go.

Zephyr turned and sighed, his left eye orange and his right eye red. "My associate Ryk and I are trying to get a better sense of the new presence in my head," he said. "I'd introduce you properly, but at the moment, he is aiding me in keeping this new demon from distracting me." The cat shrugged and sighed. "At some point, I'll have to enter a trance to prove my worth to her so that she doesn't... well, take me over. I can still fight, but until I get everything cleared away, I'll be experiencing personality changes based on who's talking... and while neither of them are bad, it may cause confusion."
