Elias looked at the explosion, "**censor**...", Elias then looked at Clare, "Whatever you do, don't mention that I'm a gatekeeper... don't ask, just don't mention it... there's a reason that I don't meddle with many angels... but this one ain't one to meddle with... **censor**, be careful.", Elias then turned into his gaseous form, that looked like pure black smoke, much like a demons, that then disappeared into a portal.

Raz looked at Elias as he fled, "If he's leaving... that means... shit... something is bad, very very bad.", Raz was standing beside Ray and he put a hand on them, "You're not going anywhere, ya hear?"

The energy began to fade, focussing on a single, bright figure. Enormous wings made of light were now clearly visible from where the group was, spanning well over fifty metres.

Clare, looking at the figure, suddenly walked forward. "Yeah, you guys might want to stay back," she said, glancing over her shoulder. "That's an angel."




Zephyr shrugged. "...She's got a point," he said. "Some angels, particularly the younger, more brash ones, don't tend to discriminate with the demons they kill at times..."




Clare shrugged and walked off. Just then, pretty much everyone realized that she hadn't explained a damn thing about why she could do what she could and had not adequately explained why it would be safer for her to go.

Looking at Clare, Ibi asked "So why are you able?"

The figure stood, seemingly walking towards the Obsidian pillars.

Without warning, all color was drained from the world. A quiet fluttering accompanied the sudden appearance of a murder of crows. Within the murder, the Grim Reaper appeared. Death himself, cloaked in black and carrying a wicked scythe, made a slow bee-line towards Ray, and those helping him.

Zephyr's eyes turned red. "Are you freakin' kidding me?!" the female voice said. "How are we supposed to... Zephyr?"


While the female had been talking, Zephyr's mouth had slowly curled into a grin. "It's been a long time, hasn't it?" he called out to Death.




Clare looked over her shoulder and stuck her tongue out playfully, winking at Ibi. "I'll explain later," she said, sauntering off towards the angel.




(... I kid you not, Zephyr really has fought Death before. o-o)

Elias could watch the others from where he hid, and he immediately got angry, and began running in his hide hole, taking on the appearance of the scout from tf2 and then hopping out of portals and in portals, hitting death with some glowing baseball bat, "Batter up!", this continued until he jumped out far away from death, "Hey, did I miss a costume party or sumthin? Because,  you have the worst one! Anyway... you ain't taking mah friend,  deathy-boy, you just ain't....", he then waved and hopped in a portal again, readying to attack again.

Ibi stood there, a dumb look on his face. He didn't really know what to make of the situation, but he knew it was bad.

The mysterious figure drew closer, the energy around them beginning to fade as they took on the appearance of a wounded mortal.

Death seemed unhindered, set in his path. He momentarily glanced at Zephyr, noting his previous opponent, but continued towards Ray.


Ray groaned, unaware of what was happening, and spoke softly. "G-Guys? I-I'm cold...L-Like...really cold..."

[Ibi Tanvaal]

The presence was close now, and a feeling of calm spread across the whole area. The figure was now clearly visible - a cat. She approached the group and spoke, her voice filled with authority. "Who is your leader?"

[Cifero Windtail]

Clare looked over her shoulder. "Huh... I'm gonna guess the guy who's about to get axed by Death," she said to the figure. "...Can you do something about that?"


Zephyr quickly began to walk towards Ray.

[Ibi Tanvaal]

The figure bowed her head slowly. "Death comes to collect, nothing more. And I do not intervene in mortal affairs."

Ibi looked at Ray. "Check for internal bleeding." He said to Zephyr.

[Cifero Windtail]

The figure bowed her head slowly. "Death comes to collect, nothing more. And I do not intervene in mortal affairs."

Zephyr was suddenly by Ray's side, checking for internal bleeding.


Clare nodded. "I see... Are you hurt at all?" she said, grinning. "You really tore the hell out of... whatever that was."

[Ibi Tanvaal]

The feline chuckled. "What you saw was me appearing in a combat zone. I did not partake in that substandard fight."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray had no obvious signs of bleeding, though he was still weakening. 


Death stopped a few feet away from Ray, and spoke softly. "I've come to clear his debts."
