Ibi was exhausted. He groaned as he rolled onto his back to reveal a shard of the pillar embedded in his leg.

Nora was pale now, her blood loss was quite severe and the robe around her waist was now irreparably soaked with blood.

Clare bit her lip, thinking quickly. "...Let me just sew her up first," she said, gently unwrapping the garment from around Nora's waist.


The leather armor suddenly appeared beside Ibi. "No need, dear, I'll take care of him," she said, examining the shard.

Zephyr suddenly appeared beside the metal thing. "Right away, sir," he murmured, pulling out a phone and dialing Ronnie.


The metal thing walked up to Raz and carefully rendered him unconscious.




Clare, surprisingly still standing, quickly went to Ibi and Nora's sides. "How bad are your wounds?" she asked, bending down to take a look.

Raz went our like a light, but in his current state, black ooze slowly dripping room his mouth, the toxin still infecting him, so if awoken again before getting cured, he would be stronger and would try to kill.






But wait... where's Elias?  Well, after the whole fight, Elias was summoned to a sort of court in heaven.


Elias stood on a large podium in a marble quartz courtroom. The judge spoke up, "Elias, Limbo keeper. You have been charged with abandoning your post and keeping an individual, who has died multiple times, alive... how do you plead?",  Elias tensed up, "By all means,  your lordship, but this petty of thing can wait for a further day, if you haven't realized, the-", the judge interrupted Elias, "Silence! If you want to continue to help this mortal, then you too, will become mortal and will not be able to return, however, if you plead guilty, I will overrule the jury and return you to your post... further terms may be discussed later... However, if an angel you know and have fought along, says that you have true rights to fight alongside them and the mortals, then I may consider...", Elias was unsure, and although he knew someone angelic, he doesn't know if they'd plead for his actions, "Would someone with a power equal to the angels work too?", The judge thought for a moment, "I'll allow it...", the audience murmured in response to these actions

Ronnie answered his phone. "Hello? Who is this?"

"This is Ryhpez," Zephyr replied. "Your brother told me to call you. We seem to have won, but we got pretty torn up." Zephyr himself had not been seriously hurt, but the leather armor looked a little more worn than usual, and the metal thing had a few dents.


Clare bit her lip and pulled out a needle, a thick leather strap, and a spool of surgical thread. "Bite down on this," she said, placing the strap in Nora's mouth. "This is not going to feel good..."

Raz groaned and got up, still affected by the toxin, and he pounced at the metal thing, using his wings as extra force to push it down, whilst clawing at it's chest, trying to kill it, "Grahhhh!!!"

Nora bit down on the leather strap, though she was faint. Her consciousness began to fade as a small pool formed around her waist.

The metal thing hugged Raz, incapacitating him. It was a metal thing. It wasn't too hard to hold feral things.




Clare worked quickly on Nora, sewing up the large gash in her torso/abdomen. "... That's a lot of blood," she murmured, noticing the pool. "Do you think she'll need a transfusion, Ibi?"




The leather armor had already fixed Ibi up.

Raz squirmed in the metal thing's grasp, and the looking towards it's head and shooting fire at it.

Ibi looked at Nora and sighed. "She's lost a lot of blood, but she's an angel. Shouldn't she heal quickly as long as the wound is sealed?"

Ronnie nodded. "Good job, team. We're sending an evac vehicle your way. It'll be a while, and weather forecast in your area suggests a sandstorm's brewing. Hunker down, and wait for rescue."

Clare shrugged. "I...I honestly don't know," she said. "I've never seen an angel this badly wounded before..." She finished the last stitches and gently cleaned Nora's abdomen a bit. "...She seems pretty tough, though," the wolf said, examining the cat's features. "She's a lot more muscular than she looks..."




Zephyr sighed. "We'll try... Any place nearby where we could take shelter? We've got some seriously injured people he...Oh, come on!" he murmured, looking over at Raz and the metal thing. "...Also, Raz is kinda... Feral and trying to kill people. But he's restrained right now."




The metal thing. Was. METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL. And also surprisingly immune to dragon breath.

Ibi stood up and turned towards Raz. "Will you be ok if I go and calm Raz?" He said to Clare, looking back for a moment.

Ronnie sighed loudly. "There should be an abandoned village nearby. Go there, don't forget anyone."
