Hi all,
It's been brought to my attention that a number of you have become concerned about a recent thread relocation resulting in a change in post counts.
When a thread becomes a dumping ground of random input then it ceases of be of use. Threads should not be used to post as much as possible to artificially inflate your post counts.
In my personal opinion, post counts are merely a number - they do not show anything but how often you have posted. They do not show how relevant or constructive this posts are nor how much they add to the community. Being worried about a number is not needed. My post count is likely lower than the majority of members here, but I'd like to think that I'm relatively important around here.
Whilst I understand that some of you are upset by the loss of your post count, at this time I am going to keep everything as is. If required, post counts can be removed entirely. Remember they are just a number.
Apologies in advance if this comes across strange, I'm tired and grouchy.
