I agree with you there, we are a pretty reserved country. But there are a lot of churches, (at least where I am) one is over 1000 years old near me

Relics of the past, you're quite right, religion has dramatically fallen in the U.K. particularly over the passed few years. I really like the churches that it's left behind, they're really nice buildings, I live right next to one and would sit in it and write all the time, I however wouldn't say I'm religious and more that I share similar views to [Amethyst].

I find it funny when people say "There's no proof that the bible is true" When it's the most reliable source of history of its time. It passes bibliographic and external test better that any other historical document of its time

Alonzorion, yeah  I mean you have to admire the craftmanship and architecture of them, as well as they are very peaceful places
