Alka pulled his mask down a bit to reveal a warm smile. "Don't worry. Despite doing a double degree, I'm currently tying with 3 others for top of medical classes. You're in good, but unofficial hands." Alka place his mask back over his mouth as he pulled a small scalpel and looked at it for a second. After checking it for noticeable dirt he placed it near Clare's navel an looked at her. "I advise that you take deep breaths and focus on happy thoughts. And remember, no jerking on the tail. Not unless you want me to slice something I shouldn't have." Alka himself took a deep breath and began a small cut to the left of Clare's navel, aiming it towards her piercing.

Clare screwed her eyes shut, focusing on some happy thoughts. She kept a firm but surprisingly gentle grip on Alka's tail.

Clare lowered her ears, but kept her abdominal muscles relaxed somewhat. I have to stay as silent as possible.... I don't want to mess him up by mistake.

After he set the piercing free he pulled the scalpel back and began using the pliers to extract the piercing. With a quiet "1, 2, 3." He jerked his arm back and swiftly pulled the piercing clean from her navel. Afterwards, he quickly put the piercing, scalpel and owes in a plastic bag and began cleaning up Clare's wounds.

"At the very least, not for a month or two while the tissue heals. Any further damage will cause some... Unwanted effects." Alka pulled out a needle and threaded a black string through it. Afterwards he flicked the needle once before beginning to stitch her navel together as well as the incision he made.

Clare bit her lip, wincing slightly as Alka stitched her up. "If it can mess me up that bad, it's not worth it," she said, glancing over at Alka with her purple eyes and grinning. "So... am I gonna make it?"

"Of course you are. The piercing didn't penetrate deep enough to cause serious damage, so as long as you keep abdominal stretches and workouts to a minimum, you'll be fine." After Alka was done, he got out the cleaning kit and began disinfecting and cleaning the tools he used. He kept the piercing in a plastic bag to be specially disposed of later though.

Clare looked at the stitches in her belly button with a grim fascination, then carefully got up, holding her shirt away from her abdomen. "I was glad to be of assistance.... Alka," she said, cocking an eyebrow. "I'm going to change into something a bit more loose, but if you'd like to, I could make some dessert or something."

If you could keep what happened here, between you and me, that would be great. What I did was kinda illegal... and me having all this equipment is also kinda illegal."

Clare grinned and winked at Alka. "Don't worry.... I'll come up with something if people ask about my navel," she said. "And your name will remain out of the picture." The wolf blushed a little too. "Sorry again to put you in this situation... if I wasn't such a klutz..."
