"You seemed to be heading in the right direction so I thought I'd let you lead." Kat grinned jokingly and nodded to the front door of the flats. "Just here in fact..." She walked into the foyer with its large staircase leading them up to the fifth floor and stopped in front of a dark green painted door.

After a moment of fumbling in her pockets for the keys Kat pushed the door open and in to the dimly lit flat, the blinds half-open from the morning.

After a moment of fumbling in her pockets for the keys Kat pushed the door open and in to the dimly lit flat, the blinds half-open from the morning.

Daisy followed Kat inside, looking around. It's a rather nice place... "So... this is where you live?" she said, not sure what was safe to ask.

"Y-yeah, I uhh.. Used to stay in a room at the university, but then moved into this place.."   Kat glanced sheepishly over her shoulder at Daisy, not sure what the celestial wolf thought. She switched on the lights and closed the door behind them with a bump of her hip. "Excuse the mess of revision notes and such, I don't tend to have guests... But there should be space on the couch."

"Y-yeah, I uhh.. Used to stay in a room at the university, but then moved into this place.."   Kat glanced sheepishly over her shoulder at Daisy, not sure what the celestial wolf thought. Daisy removed her jacket and carefully sat down on the couch. "I understand," she said, nodding and rubbing her midriff slightly through her shirt. "So, um... you wanted to show me something?"

Kat rubbed her neck, "Oh, right..." She watched as Daisy pawed at her midriff and cocked her head slightly to one side. "Well... How about that hot drink, what would you like?" The question seemed so disarmingly unrelated, Kat smiled sheepishly and glanced over to the small kitchen area. "I've got hot chocolate... coffee... lots of hot chocolate actually." She giggled with a slightly shy blush.

Daisy blushed a little, suddenly pressing her hand to her stomach. "Um... h-hot chocolate sounds great," she said, standing up. "Um... could I please use your bathroom?"

Kat couldn't help but glance at Daisy's midriff and blushed too as she mumbled.  "Oh, yeah sure... Just through there." She nodded to a door at the end of the hall as she put a kettle on to boil.

While Daisy's midriff was covered, there seemed to be a faint pink glow coming from under her shirt. "Thank you," she said, running down the hall and into the bathroom. When she had locked the door, she washed her hands, then lifted her shirt and looked at herself. "... Darn it," she muttered, hoping that it would stop before the hot chocolate was done.

Kat watched Daisy run off with a bemused and slightly concerned look. She sat down as the kettle came to a boil but unusually didn't bother to go and make the hot chocolate,  simply waiting on the couch with a slight sigh. Of course, little did Daisy know but making a drink could happen in the blink of an eye around Kat, though she was concerned enough about the wolf that she waited for her to re emerge first.

After a few minutes, Daisy opened the door, washed her hands, and returned down the hallway. "Thanks," the celestial wolf said, smiling sheepishly. "I really, um... had to go. So... hot chocolate?"

"Oh, uh.. No worries." Kat replied with a smile, not wanting to make Daisy more embarrassed than she already seemed. "Yeah, two hot chocolates right?" She stood up and nodded to the couch for Daisy to sit again, muttering sheepishly.  "Actually I could show you the trick now... But... Well you need to close your eyes... Just for a second."

"Oh, uh.. No worries." Kat replied with a smile, not wanting to make Daisy more embarrassed than she already seemed. "Yeah, two hot chocolates right?" She stood up and nodded to the couch for Daisy to sit again, muttering sheepishly.  "Actually I could show you the trick now... But... Well you need to close your eyes... Just for a second."

Daisy nodded and closed her eyes. "Okay... they're closed."

Even as Daisy closed her eyes there came a reply from Kat, "Done... You can open them again." Literally in the blink of an eye she was now sat on the couch beside her, two steaming mugs of hot chocolate in Kat's paws. Her jacket had gone and in the kitchen the mugs and cutlery had all moved, one teaspoon even rattling slightly as it dropped onto the counter. Kat held a mug out to Daisy with a shy grin.

Even as Daisy closed her eyes there came a reply from Kat, "Done... You can open them again." Daisy blinked again, staring at Kat. "... That was... Very, very fast," she said, slowly taking the mug of hot chocolate. "I'm... I'm speechless. How did you do that?"

Kat shrugged sheepishly, "I don't know how I do it, I just can..." She sipped her hot drink, as though to prove it was real, shivering gratefully at the warmth in her throat. "But only without anyone seeing me... I can't do that any more than I can walk through a brick wall." Kat glanced shyly across to Daisy from behind her fringe and chuckled softly.
