"Uhm.. Thanks," Kat mumbled and smiled in slight surprise at Daisy's compliment. The lynx girl glanced down distractedly to paw at her sweater, smoothing out the rumples and tugging it down again over the curves of her waist with an exasperated huff... She glanced back up to find Daisy looking at her with a thoughtful expression and blushed as she replied, "Oh right, yes... Gosh my head is in the clouds today..." Kat swiped her keys off the table and held open the door for Daisy with a bump of her hip. "The laundry room is downstairs, shouldn't take a minute..."

Daisy, at the moment, was very glad that she was a girl. "Alrighty, then," she murmured, walking out the door and holding it for Kat. Dang it, what's going on with me?!

Kat gave Daisy a smile as she held the door open for her to follow, Gosh... She looks as flushed as I feel right now... the lynx thought bashfully to herself with a slight shiver of her tail.

The centre of the large stairwell outside was mostly mostly taken up by an elevator cage, Kat paused beside the old-style sliding door as she glanced across to Daisy and said, "It's all the way down past the ground floor, I find it quicker to use the elevator than the stairs.. If you don't mind?"

Kat gave Daisy a smile as she held the door open for her to follow, Gosh... She looks as flushed as I feel right now... the lynx thought bashfully to herself with a slight shiver of her tail.

The centre of the large stairwell outside was mostly mostly taken up by an elevator cage, Kat paused beside the old-style sliding door as she glanced across to Daisy and said, "It's all the way down past the ground floor, I find it quicker to use the elevator than the stairs.. If you don't mind?"

Daisy shook her head. "Not at all," she said, looking at the cage... and immediately blushing. "... It's... um... it's kind of small, isn't it?" The celestial wolf rubbed her head nervously.

"Oh! Don't worry..." Kat said with a smile as she lead the way. The chubby lynx continued talking chattily, mistaking Daisy's nervousness, "...It's a really old building, but the elevator is brand new!" 

She stood to one side in the narrow doorway for Daisy, seemingly oblivious in her upbeat mood to the fact it would be a bit of a squeeze with the two of them.

"Oh! Don't worry..." Kat said with a smile as she lead the way. The chubby lynx continued talking chattily, mistaking Daisy's nervousness, "...It's a really old building, but the elevator is brand new!" 

She stood to one side in the narrow doorway for Daisy, seemingly oblivious in her upbeat mood to the fact it would be a bit of a squeeze with the two of them.

Daisy flushed an even darker shade of red, then carefully moved past Kat into the elevator cage, standing with her back to the wall. "Th... Thanks for the reassurance," she said, her tail swishing nervously.

Kat smiled reassuringly but before she could say anything else the doors slid shut behind her, almost trapping her tail. She jumped into the elevator with a surprised 'Eep!' , rubbing her short bobtail as she muttered sheepishly, "Ok, I guess it is a bit small in here..." Standing so close opposite Daisy the lynx could feel her cheeks blushing warm now, trying with some difficulty to lean past the other girl to the elevator buttons. "Could you?.. Uhm... It's the last button for our floor."

Kat smiled reassuringly, but before she could say anything else the doors slid shut behind her, almost trapping her tail. She jumped into the elevator with a surprised 'Eep!' , rubbing her short bobtail as she muttered sheepishly, "Ok, I guess it is a bit small in here..." Standing so close opposite Daisy the lynx could feel her cheeks blushing warm now, trying with some difficulty to lean past the other girl to the elevator buttons without brushing against her waist. "Could you?.. Uhm... It's the last button for our floor."

Daisy, already flustered from being in such close quarters with Kat, started to tremble a little, her face flushing with warmth. "W... Which one is that?" she asked, conscious of how close Kat was to her. "I can't see..." Please don't accidentally lean against me, please don't accidentally lean against me...

"It's... Erm, if you could just..." Kat said haltingly as she tried to reach past Daisy to a button around waist height, her cheeks prickling hot. Is s-she shivering?.. Kat found herself thinking in surprise as she hit the button. The elevator moved with a sudden jerk and the plump lynx stumbled slightly against the other girl, brushing Daisy's hip as she pulled her hand back. Kat breathed in sharply and bit her lip, blushing deeply as she muttered, "Ah! Uhm... T-There w-we go, that got it."

"It's... Erm, if you could just..." Kat said haltingly as she tried to reach past Daisy to a button around waist height, her cheeks prickling hot. Is s-she shivering?.. Kat found herself thinking in surprise as she hit the button. The elevator moved with a sudden jerk and the plump lynx stumbled slightly against the other girl, brushing Daisy's hip as she pulled her hand back. Kat breathed in sharply and bit her lip, blushing deeply as she muttered, "Ah! Uhm... T-There w-we go, that got it."

Daisy jumped hugely, a surprised, flustered look coming to her face. "Y... Yay," she murmured, looking into Kat's eyes and touching her hip with the hand on that side of her body.

Kat glanced down sheepishly at where the other girl's hand rested against her soft pudgy hip and her bobtail visibly shivered with bewildered exhilaration.

She was suddenly very aware of just how close they were pressed to each other in that small space. Kat glanced down sheepishly at where the other girl's hand rested against her pudgy hip and her bobtail visibly shivered with bewildered exhilaration.

(.... Oh. o-o Well, okay, I guess she touched Kat's hip then.)


Daisy blushed darkly and gave Kat a sheepish smile. "N... Now we're even then, huh?" she said, chuckling awkwardly.

Daisy blushed a little, realizing that she hadn't been quite clear about what she had said. I've really got to work at the way I say things... "It's alright," she said, starting to take a step forward before almost immediately stepping back, her face flushing hotly as she realized how that could be interpreted. "Um... It sure is cramped in here, huh?" the wolf murmured, looking around sheepishly.

Kat glanced up and shrugged, her cheeks were still rosy and flushed. "Y-Yeah, I guess it is pretty cramped... Never really realised when using it on my own.." She stammered, breathing in sharply as Daisy came closer, only to relax slightly again as the wolf girl stepped back. When the elevator finally jerked to halt Kat almost jumped in surprise. She cleared her throat awkwardly after and mutterd, "Ah! Our floor, finally..." The lynx turned to leave as the doors opened, her short bushy tail swishing timidly.
